I’ve got the final @GimliDivision report to close that huge fundraiser we did this past summer into September….from the man himself: Gimli!! 😁🌟 ❗️Report on $3,500 spent on 5 EcoFlow power stations❗️ The total purchase amount is $3,500 (approximately 157,500 UAH). * 2 power stations — $766 / 34,484 UAH * 3 power stations — $2,734 / 123,030 UAH We also received one additional power station as a gift for placing a large order. Another one was donated by neighbouring units as a sign of gratitude for evacuating their wounded brother-in-arms. 💪💪💪💪 In total, our unit has received 7 EcoFlow power stations. They will support combat missions and help protect the lives of our soldiers. We sincerely thank everyone who helps us: every person and every friend of Ukraine from all around the world. Your support is more than equipment or donations. It is faith in us, in our soldiers, and in Ukraine’s inevitable victory. Now my cousin’s Viber account has been hacked. For the first time in all my years of volunteering, I’m raising funds for my cousin Andriy. Since this collection began, scammers have twice tried to steal donations through fake PayPal accounts. Now his personal communications with family and friends have been compromised. Perhaps this helps explain why I feel as though my family is surrounded by enemies. All we’re trying to do is get his unit a truck. Why must even that be such a battle?

I’m sick to my stomach watching what’s happening to Ukraine. I’m so angry I can’t even find the words to curse….but I was raised by 🇵🇱🇺🇦 family who taught me: Suck it up, buttercup, and get to work. I have family on the front lines. These are our people defending. Our future. Without Ukraine’s soldiers, there would be no Ukraine as we know it today. Ukraine is on fire, and our soldiers are the ones containing that fire. Yet military collections hosted by family members of military (like my own) get buried beneath all the outrage and noise on social media. I understand the anger. I share it. But anger won’t equip soldiers or repair their vehicles. We can scatter our energy in a hundred directions or focus on making a tangible difference together. Scream if you must. But please, help while you’re screaming. Героям слава! Glory to the Heroes! 🇺🇦 And let’s remember: we don’t have to wait until our heroes are gone to honour them. We can show our gratitude while they’re still here, still fighting, still sacrificing for Ukraine’s future. Honour them now. Support them while they can still feel that support. We have so much power to help, collectively. We just need to focus. All of this confusion and rage is by design. Keep focused. Don’t let them win. The first step is mindset. Mindset is everything. And the clowns in the back attacking volunteers while playing like you are here to help? Not today, Satan. Not today. I do have a collection and I see others, so I’m going to share them below throughout the day. I am at work now, so I must focus on making money first. I am a true volunteer where I do not gain a penny from genocide of my people. I give, I do not take. Those “skimming-off-the-top” people can go fuck themselves and get a job like the rest of us. Please use Ukrainian space for military defence support and fighting disinformation while Ukraine is on fire. Please. Don’t make this about yourself right now also. There will be time for that after this hellfire is extinguished. Most of us will disappear and you can stay and collect your awards and suck up all airspace here then.

🇨🇦🇺🇦 I understand why fundraising has become so difficult. Here in Canada, food bank use has reached record levels. Many families struggled to put a Thanksgiving meal on the table yesterday. People who were once financially comfortable are now struggling to make ends meet. On October 7, the Food Bank of York Region reported food bank use had increased 57% since 2020, with families sometimes skipping meals to cover other essential needs. Food Banks Canada recorded 2.17 million visits in March 2025, almost double the number in 2019. Nearly one in five clients had employment income. We’re losing jobs, facing trade uncertainty and watching the cost of living squeeze ordinary families. Reuters reported on October 9 that Canada lost 68,300 jobs in September, following 41,700 in August. Canada is pursuing new trade partnerships, including negotiations with Asian countries and stronger European ties, to reduce dependence on the United States. And this hardship extends far beyond Canada. I see what’s happening. I understand why people can’t always donate. We’re all trying to get through some very difficult times. That’s why every $5 donated towards a pickup truck for my cousin Andriy’s Ukrainian military unit means so much to me. If you can help, thank you.
