Onkey does not have the funds to pay back at this moment. When SVA signed on to Onkey I made a deal where I would ONLY pay in partial payments every month leading up to the event because I was weary on a new business partner, it turned out this was the correct call because of the deal SVA was fortunate enough to aggressively and quickly recoup our sponsorship. At this time SVA has been paid back the $2000 we spent on onkey to date. I never touched this money as I had a funny feeling when we parted it would be needed. SVA will be pledging this $2000 to Artist alley artists who have not gotten a refund on their table and I am adding an additional $500 of my own money coming to a total of $2500 I will assist artist alley artists with recouping their loss from this event. I do this NOT to help onkey but because I know the financial strain paying for a table can be and how devasting a loss of a few hundred can be when you are already struggling. We will commit to cover up to $2500. what to do: ======= contact [email protected] with a receipt or proof and your amount owed along with your paypal. We wil cross verify and confirm before sending funds to you. We will only be covering up to $2500 in which after that I will publicly state when its capped. Again, I do this NOT to help onkey. The reality is the vendors and artist alley participants will most likely not be paid back. This is the best I can do to assist. At this time I am only starting with Artist Alley.

I don't want to get too into onkey. Its beating a dead horse, I have to say something though in regards to security since that was a big concern and ive been alerted multiple times that the person running the convention at the moment has seriously misconstrued what happened. SVA was very involved with onkey, I believed in them to make the con work, We were the title sponsor. I started to see a lot of cracks and grew concerned around March, I brought up security, I had contacts professionally and unprofessionally that ran con security before or could have worked out. Screenshot one is me extending this opportunity to the at the time CEO. I was told they did have security or at least had something going. We approached Onkey with a list of concerns on operations in I believe in may, we gave them a bulleted list of questions we needed answered. All of these questions were simple operations questions which they should have already had answers to. A month passed and we approached them for their answers, not one answer provided to us with satisfactory or conductive to a safe and functional event. SVA pulled out as not me or my talents felt this would be a safe event to be at. I say this this some grace as i know not all conventions need murder hobo defense or buffed out intense security at every point with patrols, but it needs SOMETHING. hotel staff and local police are not a solution, you need at least SOMETHING and at that time there was nothing. Even if its a .5% chance someone could get harmed at a con you need to prevent it or have something in place. I do not know if since then they actually got security, I do not know their current plans as i have moved on from trying to help this event. I do know the current ceo as recently as not even a month ago has told people we demanded more security than the average vtuber or agency. I know this from multiple people. I ask you, logically. If SVA or the vtubers I intended to have there needed MORE security than you could provide why would I expect or demand the convention to supply this? I could just contract my own people if I needed more than what was on hand. Our concern has always been the overall attendee experience, not myself or SVA. If I needed more I would have provided it for myself, the problem is there was nothing for anyone. Hex, respectfully again, please stop talking about the situation and move on. SVA was attempting our best to help but our priority was always the attendee experience.
