With walls adorned with statues, paintings, murals and manuscripts - it stands witness to an amalgamation of Buddhism from across different places. It is almost as though a Buddhist prominent place and the roads from there led to this Monastery, thousands of years ago. – at Pallakad, India
Indian Air Force’s Group Captain Varun Singh, injured in military chopper crash, was awarded Shaurya Chakra on this year’s Independence Day for saving his LCA Tejas fighter aircraft during an aerial emergency in 2020.
