Tell your friends. They can grab their copy tomorrow. My mom is already in line.
I don't know how best to say this, but the work Michael and I did for his book is unlike anything else out there. It's truly one of a kind.

Day 300 writing tip, October 27th, 2026 ✍️ BOOK LAUNCH DAY Happy Book Launch Day to all who celebrate. When I woke up, my husband wrote this note on my computer, and I feel like I can do anything. And on day 300! So how does a writer get to this day? If you've made it past... 1. The Manuscript of Madness 2. Through the tunnel of "I don't love this phase" editing. 3. Past the last round of "Who wants to hide this manuscript under the mattresses and tell no one." 4. To, okay, I might actually do this. 5. But wait, where did that spelling error come from? Then you might be ready to launch the book out into the known universe. You might feel like you are never ready. You will be. What if no one reads it? Maybe, but you can always gift everyone a copy at the Holidays and Birthdays. The point. 🪅It's day 300 of writing these tips. 🪅Every day, showing up and saying something that might help someone, just as they help me. 🪅Michael and I planned to release this particular book about 3 years ago, and we're finally getting here. 🪅Knowing this book is not like the others. 🪅Knowing we kept the integrity of Michael's voice. 🪅Knowing it's a book guys might want to read, too. 1. You can get there if this is your road. 2. Take one day at a time. 3. Let us celebrate with you on your own launch day. There are only 65 days left this year. Let's make the most of it. Stephanie King Ari Press.

I woke early this morning with my mini-Ausie partially under my pillow. My wife was trying to get a blanket around her and she was shaking. I thought at first she was having a seizure, but when it didn't stop I got really worried. I put my arm around her. When I decided it was time for a trip to the emergency vet, I put in my hearing aids - and then I heard it. One of our smoke alarms was chirping. Fixing the smoke alarm fixed the dog. Hold on to those you love, particularly when they are frightened. (but remember to put in your hearing aids).

Walking my dog this morning it was cold, windy and rainy It reminded me of when I was young, driving an open tractor At the time, I was miserable Today, however, it made me realize that I was alive It all depends on your point of view and your position in life

Thinking about the friends I have made on social media Some I have lost, some just vanished with no trace With in-person friends, I always know what happened With online friends, not so much Are they real or just part of the matrix What is real and what is not Sort of like my books – some of it is real and some is not

On the walk this morning, I thought about the ‘wow’ moments (description attached). It has been months I have been preoccupied, but for some reason I started thinking about it again. Looking at the sky, there was a glorious display of wispy clouds. As I turned a corner facing east, the clouds were on fire as the sun rose. Finally, a tree that had turned a brilliant red. As writers, we need to pay attention to things. We can’t afford to put our head down and hope the world goes away. Good or bad, what sticks with you today?

When I was in Denali Park we had a young tour guide who pointed out a blooming wildflower. Said it was his Wow moment. Every day, he looked for that ‘wow’ that he could look back on at the end of the day. He said it is funny how it changes your perspective - you start looking for the wonder in life.

Against my better judgment, I watched NBC Skews this morning. The ‘expert’ was literally dancing as he reported the latest political polls. I don’t think you can get much more blatant than that. I am trying to think back over my 77 years and remember when unbiased news reporting died. Maybe news, by its very nature, is biased. The major publishers have taken on that biased. Or maybe it too, has always been that way?

I just watched one of the myriads of Ghost Buster movies. After my experience with a ghost hunter group I decided to write a book. Like the movie, it was supposed to be humor, but after I got into it, I realized the many things I learned. The book slowly changed… there was still humor but in retrospect I included history, storytelling, and philosophy - and even a little science. The book is Spirit Chasers

I caught a post the other day. It said in essence, that you should not reveal your true name or picture on social media. I must admit, when I started on social media I never even considered that. It is not an America problem, it is worldwide. I refuse to be bullied into remaining anonymous.

WANTED!!! Haters for interviews! I really want to find out what goes on in their minds – or maybe not... Dr. Phil said about killers, “Most people can’t understand the mind of a killer; they just can’t get their minds to go there.” Several major studies have been done and point to, “everyday sadism—pleasure from others’ distress—and also with psychopathy and Machiavellianism.” Are there really that many sadists out there? What has happened to our world? Hate is an infection – and I fear there is a pandemic. Hiding in your house won’t help.

Thank you for the reposts. 😊🙏🏻
Little Beliton is a remote Dartmoor village (mythical, but in my head represents real beauty spots pushed together). A friendly community who support each other with life problems. I hope readers enjoy the stories as they get to know the characters and feel part of the community.
