Gyokeres is not “mid”. He is a prolific goal scorer. The stats back this up. It’s not opinion. It’s a fact. If Arteta can’t fashion how to get the best out of him then he should sell him. You can’t buy a Ferrari and want to use it in mountainous terrains and then turn around to say a Ferrari is bad because it failed to navigate the terrains it was not built for. Simple really.

He isnt slow, is physical enough to cause problems for defenders and he does, doesnt miss clear chances one could score with their eyes closed. He does have striker instinct and we all know it. Havertz had 15 goals in all comps by Jan 25 before him and Saka tore their hamstrings back to back As long as we manage him better this time around with Gyokeres to keep him fit, he’s 100% hitting at least 25 goals. Gyokeres hit 21 goals last season for us as well
