🚨 Labour came to power warning of a £22bn black hole.
Since then they have:
❌ Put taxes up by around £70bn
❌ Borrowed another £310bn
And now, after taking more of your money AND borrowing hundreds of billions more…
…there is apparently another £35bn black hole.
At what point do we admit the problem isn’t that Government doesn’t have enough money?
It’s that Government cannot control its spending.
You cannot tax your way to growth.
You cannot borrow your way out of overspending.
And taxpayers cannot keep being handed the bill.
Enough.

Andy Burnham keeps dragging us back to the Brexit referendum, claiming Russian interference, yet has produced no evidence to substantiate it. Now, when challenged, he tries to wriggle out of it by claiming he meant a general election instead. As Kemi Badenoch @KemiBadenoch and Nigel Farage have pointed out, these are two very different things. You cannot make serious claims like this and then dodge around when challenged.
For God's sake, Andy Burnham, you're the Prime Minister now, not a student debating in a student common room. Start acting like a Prime Minister. @10DowningStreet
🚨"This was an out-and-out UNTRUTH, a LIE"
Sir Iain Duncan Smith says MI5 were very clear there was no interference from Russia in the 2016 EU referendum.

Another car crash interview for Labour.
Can’t answer the question and he is deliberately trying to mislead the public with dodgy figures. They’re not like for like.
You just can’t trust anything Labour politicians say.

Brexit didn’t fail. The political class refused to use it.
We voted to take back control of our laws, borders, trade and regulation. Westminster got those powers, refused to use them, then blamed Brexit for its own failure.
Now Burnham's answer is to hand powers back to Brussels.
"Brexit has done more harm than good."
Andy Burnham says he will 'lay out options' at the next reset summit to tighten the relationship between the EU and UK.

In just two years Labour have hit us with over £64 billion in extra taxes & over £244 billion in extra borrowing - and they’ve squandered the lot with nothing to show for it.
Fancy thinking that the answer is more taxes and more borrowing.
The mind boggles.

Breaking.
The UK paid £11.9 BILLION last year in universal credit welfare payments to households with foreign nationals.
Up from £9.5 billion in 2024 & £7.5 billion in 2023.
And 65% of the payments went to jobless claimants.
We are being fleeced.

No wealth tax anywhere in the world has ever generated anything like £25bn/year. It’s a fantasy.

A Burnham claimed yesterday that the 2016 vote for Brexit ushered in a decade of low growth.
He’s right that there’s been low growth, though not just in Britain, which suggests Brexit is not quite the explanation he thinks it is.
I think Brexiteers hard pressed to show that Brexit has been good for growth.
But Remainers lack evidence it has crippled or undermined growth.
In the decade from mid-2016 til mid-2026, the UK had the 3rd biggest growth in real GDP (13%) of the G7. Well behind the US (27%) and Canada (20%) but ahead of France (12%), Italy 10%, Germany 8%, and Japan (6%).
I think we can all agree Japan made a big mistake leaving the EU.

Is the PGA Tour Evil? The PGA Tour doesn’t protect golf. It protects a monopoly. Color outside their lines and they try to ruin you.
Greg Norman wanted a world tour decades ago. They froze him out, then treated him like a cartoon villain the second he ran LIV.
Phil Mickelson was a Tour cash machine until he left. Then he wasn’t an icon anymore. He was a traitor.
LIV players took another job. That’s it. Now the price of walking back in isn’t qualifying on Monday. It’s a “charitable” shakedown — Koepka had to drop $5 million and give up years of equity — plus fines on the European side in the millions. Independent contractors, until they work for someone else. Then it’s a noncompete with better branding.
Wesley Bryan played a nine-hole YouTube scramble with LIV guys after they warned him. Indefinite suspension. Not for tanking events. For touching the wrong microphone.
Good Good built an audience the Tour doesn’t own. The Tour was happy to take their title-sponsor check until a dumb driver ad — the kind sports commercials have run for 20 years, and Callaway signed off on before it aired — needed a villain. Partners fled. Merch vanished. Values showed up right after the screenshots.
Tiger Woods did more damage to the “family values” brochure than that entire list combined. He stayed inside the tent. So he’s still the face.
This isn’t about taste, Saudi money, or a tacky commercial. It’s about control. Play their schedule, sell their story, take their permission. Do anything else and they don’t argue with you. They try to erase you.

Please! Is there nobody who can make this virtue-signalling bollocks stop?
Why does he think we give a monkey’s what he thinks?
He has zero qualifications/knowledge to opine on such matters.
He’s ‘sorry’ the world is not a better place than it is. With that sort of penetrating philosophical insight an Oxbridge professorship must surely beckon, toute suite.
He’s just reading a vacuous script his wife wrote for him.
If we had a whip round couldn’t we pay for them to stay in Montecito? I’d contribute.

The Met’s efforts to intimidate a journalist doing public interest journalism cannot simply be excused by its boss saying ‘we dropped the ball.’ This was a direct attack on a free press and free speech. The journalist’s investigations have been vindicated. The Met is meant to protect a free press and free speech. Instead, it’s the threat.

I'm not backing down from this one.
You can support people's rights AND believe biological men shouldn't compete in women's sports. Those two things are not mutually exclusive.
My issue isn't hate. It's protecting women, protecting girls, and asking why a WNBA coach chose to inject herself into a controversy that could hurt the very league she's supposed to represent.
Common sense still matters. That's where I stand.
