Regarding the Danfoss refrigeration systems hacked in France:
The username is `admin`, and the password automatically changes every day to... the current date.
Yes, today's date.
The French supermarkets affected in today's attacks had exposed all its refrigeration controllers directly to the internet.
Every single device reportedly used the same password: today's date...
There's also a documented authentication bypass: sending a POST request to /xml.cgi can bypass the login entirely.

Here's the first release of the Xbox 360 Peer Pressure softmod. Blog post will be out in a few weeks with all the technical details. Barring any critical bugs I'll be "hibernating" for the next 2 months to recoup my sanity from working on this project github.com/grimdoomer/Xbox36…

BREAKTHROUGH IN THE XBOX 360 SCENE.
ONE HEADER. ALL XBOX 360 BOARDS. ONE SPI WORKFLOW.
Before softmod becomes possible on more consoles, not every Xbox 360 can be softmodded. Many will still need RGH.
$7 HARDWARE.
Xbox 360 modding just got cheaper. ⚡
That’s why we built:
MODI Pico 2 Flasher X360 TURBO
• ~19s NAND READ
• ~24s NAND WRITE
• NAND / Big Block / Corona eMMC
• J-Runner integration
• based on a super-cheap RP2350 board
• fully public and free
No expensive programmer. No complicated setup.
Flash the UF2, run the package, connect it and go.
