The reaction you get when you point out that, historically, other clubs only became 'big' and 'sustainable,' as a result of the initial influx of money from rich owners, (pre FFP) and that other clubs currently spend as big as City, but the difference is that City spend wisely.
I honestly believe, that the kind of shenanigans City have been accused of, have been going on for years in football. Especially at the big clubs to some degree.
No club is whiter than white.
It is naive to think otherwise.
City have just been targeted for various reasons.

Youโd have to be incredibly naive to believe the Premier League would casually kick out one of the clubs they constantly use to market the league globally, feature across their TV campaigns and rely on for huge commercial revenue.

Insufferable old twat alert, but it's really telling about the modern world how readily people who don't understand the issues and have no grasp of the facts are nonetheless willing to comment on things in such categorical terms. Quite frightening, really.
I wouldn't mind taking all this shit if the PL were a genuine organisation and they had plans to clean up the game and come for the likes of United's parasite owners next.
But we all know they are corrupt and it will never happen.

The number of Arsenal and United fans that have spawned in after the recent 115 news is utterly staggering. Worst part is, so many STILL donโt know what the charges are or what they consist of. Lack of awareness and naivety and the constant lapping up of any 115 media is rather alarming.
Even if you want to take our trophiesโฆ you could never ever take our experiences, the feelings us City fans have cherished. You can send us to League 2โฆ weโve won the lot and youโll still be crying about us.
Finally got something to harp on about. But you would, wouldnโt you, when you know the rules are in place to keep you untouchable?
Unfortunately the process is far from over, yet somehow you have all made yourselves believe that City will be relegated or liquidated within the next week. Matter of fact is, youโll have to sit there wetting yourselves with preemptive excitement for 2-3 years while this goes back to court. And the reaction when we donโt get hit with some extremely damaging punishment? Itโll be rather amusing, to put it lightly.
In the meantime, we will keep winning, and after all is said and done, even if the club IS punished, we will keep supporting the club, we will still be there week in week outโฆ because for proper fans, itโs not just for the success, itโs for the journey, the emotion, the passion and the second family that being a City fan gives you.

My question this morning is: will rival fans apologise to City and the fans if the club ends up overturning the guilty verdict? I don't think so. You'll just say we paid ourselves out of it. So shut up and don't expect us to not defend our club until there is an official outcome.
So many rival fans getting all giddy. There are clearly going to be floods of tears if it transpires that City were actually cleared of the most serious group of charges and have done nothing seriously wrong, getting just a wrist slap.
