Thought Iowa would contemplate making a QB change given how the first half has unfolded. Didn’t think they’d make it in the first half.

This is awesome insight into why new Hawkeye Punter Boston Everitt has been so lethal.
HOW AUSSIE FOOTBALL PREPARED BOSTON EVERITT FOR IOWA 🇦🇺
ST Coordinator Chris Polizzi explained why Everitt’s Australian football background has translated so naturally to punting:
“Everything with them is passing the ball left and right, with their feet, with accuracy.”
That experience gave Everitt years of practice controlling a ball with his foot before he ever played American football.
Through six games, 17 of his 27 punts (63%) have been inside the 20. That leads the entire FBS 📈
Not bad for someone still learning the game.
