Remember that IMF and World Bank sanctions on Africa are implemented by the US military. And they keep asking why we don't resist. They always ignore the violence we are met with when we try to resist.

A large part of the problems South Africa is facing are caused by our “economists” wrongly equating the state with a company or a household. The state as monopoly rand issuer gains nothing from rand profit, and loses nothing when it makes a rand loss. What matters is how the state’s spending (rand creation) and taxation (rand destruction) affects rand users (households and businesses), in terms of supply and distribution of rand (which increase demand), services, infrastructure etc (which reduce rand user costs), inflation, employment etc. Our backward economists pretend the state depends on rand from rand users, and even that the state should try make a profit. State profit or debt reduction just means reducing the supply of rand or govt bonds in private sector hands. That can be very counter productive.

15 years wasted on green energy bullshit. Fucking dickheads
GOVERNMENT DROPS WIND AND SOLAR The SA government has unveiled a major shift in South Africa's energy strategy, prioritising 9,600MW of new capacity from battery storage and gas-fired power while excluding new wind and solar projects from its latest procurement plan. Electricity and Energy Minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa said the move is aimed at addressing growing challenges caused by surplus electricity and increasing renewable energy curtailment on the grid. The plan includes 4,600MW of battery storage and 5,000MW of gas-to-power generation over the 2026 to 2037 period. Batteries will store excess electricity for use during peak demand, while gas plants will provide reliable backup power when needed. The Independent Power Producer Office will oversee both programmes, which will also be open to Eskom, marking a significant shift in South Africa's evolving energy landscape. Fresh out of a 19 year Bombela Concession, Gautrain has been handed over to Sihamba Sonke Mobility that includes French entities RATP Dev & Alstom. RATP is 100% owned by the French government which also holds a stake in Alstom. Our privatization is their nationalisation.

While you are being distracted by GNU PR, French identity amd security company IDEMIA has landed an RTMC contract for printing and security features om driver licence cards. This comes after the company had its contract with Airports Company South Africa cancelled a few days ago. Prior to that, the same company had a botched ID project contract with the Department of Home Affairs where it went in as a contractor to EOH. RTMC and ACSA both fall under the Ministry of Transport led by World Economic Forum one world government and digital control merchant Barbara Creecy. ACSA got pressured to cancel the contract but IDEMIA has been given a new lease of life at RTMC. Talk about throwing procurement ethics to the dustbin for the benefit of a French company that has scandals all over the world including USA, Latin America, and Kenya etc.

In my ideal South Africa, the one I imagine in my head, the one I know it's possible, education would be free for ALL SA children. There would be no separation between public and private education. But I know that this would not only be opposed by those who benefit from making education a commodity and those who afford costly education because they have the propensity to oppose anything that seek to make their children attend the same schools & universities where the children of the poor also attend. It's a class issue. After the disastrous, inferior Bantu education, SA should have opted for a single education system from basic education to the post school level.

It seems some of the political parties that signed the Electoral Code of Conduct are not necessarily abiding by what they committed themselves to. But perhaps the media (fourth estate or journalists) itself should also be bound by a similar code, because wow, the amount of misinformation, disinformation and propaganda doing the rounds is something else. The Electoral Code of Conduct, contained in Schedule 1 of the Municipal Electoral Act 27 of 2000, exists precisely to ensure conditions conducive to free and fair elections. The Act sets out prohibited conduct and provides for penalties for contraventions, ranging from formal warnings and fines to the cancellation of votes and party registration. Among the prohibited conduct are: • Using language that provokes violence. • Intimidating candidates or voters. • Publishing false information about other candidates or political parties. • Plagiarising another party’s symbols, name or acronyms. • Offering an inducement or reward to someone to vote for a particular party. • Destroying, removing or defacing another party’s posters. I particularly want to emphasise the provision on publishing false information about other candidates or political parties, because of what we are currently seeing around the health of former President Jacob Zuma. There is so much malicious information being pushed around, not only by sections of the media but also by political actors aligned to certain political parties. For whatever reasons best known to them, some of these actors appear to be deliberately spreading information without regard for whether it is true or not. And it is not just about the former President’s health. We also see what is presented as breaking news about internal party matters, including claims that the MKP SG has been fired or replaced. Whether those particular claims are true or not, I honestly don't know. That is not even the point I am making. The point is that there appears to be a deliberate online propaganda campaign, driven through social media, where misinformation and disinformation are circulated, sometimes before anyone has bothered to establish the facts. What concerns me even more is that some of this goes beyond ordinary political contestation, free speech or journalistic reporting. It becomes dark, malicious and potentially dangerous propaganda, capable of creating confusion, fuelling tensions and triggering unintended consequences. We cannot normalise a political environment where people deliberately manufacture or circulate falsehoods simply because they believe it serves their political interests. Political competition or independent and fair reporting is one thing; deliberately misleading the public is another. As we approach the local government elections which is 26 days out to the 4th of November, the integrity of information matters just as much as the integrity of the electoral process itself. People must be able to make informed political choices without being manipulated by fabricated stories and sensational claims masquerading as breaking news. I sincerely hope the @IECSouthAfrica is taking note of this growing behaviour and considering what action, within its mandate, can be taken to address it. The Electoral Code of Conduct cannot mean much if its principles are only invoked when convenient, while the deliberate spreading of false information is allowed to continue unchecked. Free and fair elections are not only about what happens at the ballot box. They are also about the information environment in which voters form their opinions and make their choices. – at Milnerton, South Africa

State capture starts with the pretence that the rand issuing state depends on the rand using private sector for rand. Convince people that the public monopoly on rand supply doesn’t exist, and then you can pretend that the other public monopolies (water supply networks, electricity transmission networks, roads, railways, ports etc) need to be privatised, using the bullshit excuse that the state magically has no rand to build and maintain them. Rand supply was the first public monopoly to be unnecessarily privatised, by limiting govt spending (adding rand to supply) to the amount of rand removed from supply by taxation and bond sales, which makes SAs rand using private sector 100% dependent on private bank loans, at exorbitant interest cost, for any increase in rand supply necessary to support investment, employment and growth.
