Developers who are getting value from AI should speak up. There's safety in numbers. MOST developers are doing it and loving it - and if they're not talking about it it's mostly out of fear for haters attacking them, their product, and their company.

You aren’t creating anything the AI is! Is what I keep seeing people say. Fine. The Ai is creating it but I’m directing it, making the decisions, coming up with ideas and telling it what I want. So I guess anyone that uses Ai to create is now a Director instead of a creator.

I think we as a whole should stop calling genAI users "AI Artists". They're not artists. They're commissioners. "AI prompter", "AI commissioner", whatever, is more appropriate... You didn't make the art. The bot did. Do you call yourself a chef when you order Subway?
