🚨JUST IN: New York will not hand Mexican illegal alien Roman Amatitla over to ICE after he was charged with the March 16 Flushing fire that killed a 3-year-old and three others.
Prosecutors said he stayed outside drinking beer while watching people burn and jump.
ICE lodged a detainer asking New York to notify them and hold him long enough for federal agents to take custody for deportation.
New York City’s Department of Correction refused the detainer because of sanctuary policies under Governor Kathy Hochul and Mayor Zohran Mamdani.
By refusing the detainer, New York is not handing him over to ICE and is blocking deportation.
Democrats chose the kiIIer over the toddler.

The Department of Justice announced charges involving 16 individuals, including a non-U.S. citizen, in cases involving illegal voting, fraudulent voter registration, and other election-related crimes.
The cases include:
-Noncitizens voting in federal elections
-Falsely claiming U.S. citizenship to register or vote
-Casting ballots on behalf of deceased individuals
-Voting multiple times in the same election
-Making false statements on citizenship applications
-Unlawfully obtaining U.S. citizenship

NEW: ICE announces that the Dominican criminal illegal alien shot by ICE in the Bronx yesterday previously fled from ICE in September, and ICE didn’t pursue. Yesterday, ICE says they tried to block him in with several vehicles and he tried to flee again by ramming the ICE cars. ICE says they also had a detainer on him on a prior arrest last year, but NYC released him and ignored the detainer.
ICE says because he’s a known flight risk, they now have him in detention outside of New York.
DHS Sec. Mullin then blasts NYC Mayor Mamdani for referring to the alien as a “New Yorker”, and for running to the microphones about this, but having nothing to say about the attempted stabbing murder & robbery of a NYPD officer by two Dominican illegal aliens last week.

The Communists in Brazil ran the same playbook on Jair Bolsonaro as they did here on Trump.
They tried to kill him, accused him of a coup, banned him from office and threw him in jail.
In the U.S. they attempted to do the same and it ended with a Trump landslide in 2024.
