I get the need that people want to know details, and that the usual internet “sources” will gladly provide story for those clicks… but I wish the focus was more on people and not obituaries of corporate entities. That’s premature, and not important in comparison.

My ability to relay X/Twitter messages from Bungie into Discord servers is returning. X is the one place Bungie posts extremely important messages (downtimes, known issues, etc), so we are paying for the Twitter API despite the cost. This feature is returning for supercharged servers only. However, we are grandfathering in everyone who already had it turned on but not allowing any changes to the channel posted to without being supercharged. In order to turn this feature on or make changes to it you will need to have a supercharged server.

Bungie has absolutely communicated some things very poorly over the years. But the amount of people who think Destiny 2 is ending with The Final Shape is truly mind blowing. They could not have been more clear for over TWO YEARS. Destiny is not going away. Jesus Christ.
