In the spirit of the classic Ace Doubles, TwoTome presents pairs of standalone novellas in single printed volumes. Finish one novella, flip the book over, and step into the next world! The novellas are thoughtful, literary tales meant for ages 12 and up. The volumes are paperback-sized, perfect for portability in pockets, purses, and packs! kickstarter.com/projects/mrc…

6 days left on the Kickstarter for THE FELIX TALES VOL. 1 As soon as I make it to $2000, I can start writing Vol. 2! A distinctly American fantasy epic, fused from tall tales, folklore, mythology, and weird fiction.

You may not like the look of the new Narnia covers, but I am grateful that they are not photoshopped slop. They are vivid and energetic and thoughtful. We always complain about banality in oldpub. These covers are not banal.

Two days before the Alberta referendum there's a "mass casualty" event at an Albertan military base? Hm.

It is clear that the Claude logo is not an unfortunate evocation of an anus, but rather a cleverly literate allusion to a passage in Breakfast of Champions by Kurt Vonnegut.

I only ship to the U.S., but I'll set something up for international buyers after the Kickstarter so they can get a locally printed hardcover (unsigned) And the Kickstarter link! kickstarter.com/projects/fen…

Again, have we gotten any confirmation that the mathematical proofs by OpenAI are correct? Everybody's panicking and for all we know it may be gibberish...

I bet Adobe is wishing they hadn't been such greedy dicks for so long. Photoshop etc. getting rebuilt by AI into open-source freeware just seems like comeuppance to me.

The proof has arrived! The book has 9 interior illustrations & I tested different versions to see what prints the best. This is a limited edition so that fans can support my work, so I made it at nice as possible. I did proper full justification and various typesetting tweaks.

Because I am not an engagement account, you can know that this story is 100% true. Anyhow, I was in the drive-thru at McDonald's. I handed my card to the kid and it fell to the pavement. I started to open my door to retrieve it and the kid said, "Sorry, no, I can get it." Wut? And he projected himself through the open window, bent downwards, lowered himself to the pavement -- one hand securing himself, the other presumably reaching down -- and finally pulled himself back up into the drive-thru, with my card. As I was literally clapping in amazement, he said with a sheepish grin, "I used to be a gymnast." He charged my card, I said thank you with much laughter, and we both resumed our normal day.

KICKSTARTER UPDATE It should take only 3 or 4 more pledges to hit the goal. But why be minimal? The more the merrier! Each volume comes with a free bookmark, and you have the option of getting autographed copies! kickstarter.com/projects/mrc…

Spotlight on Indie
@spotlightficOct 14
📚 It's so exciting to see the catalog of books grow by indie authors producing fun, imaginative stories; some heart-warming, some faith-filled, some action-packed and all without pushing modern ideologies onto readers. 🙂 The list is growing! Share it wherever you can for readers and other based indie authors looking for a resource of good reading! 🦸 And we can list your serial fiction, comics/graphic novels, and even pre-orders. Add it in one place where readers can find it all! 🎬 Book listings can even include a featured video, such as a book/series trailer, interview, or even audiobook sample or whole. You won't find that anywhere else! 🎤
