‘You are in jail, we are outside’: Prakash Raj to Modi, Shah and Gyanesh Kumar at anti-SIR protest
Actor @prakashraaj addressed the Muslim Youth League’s 24-hour ‘Jantar Mantar’ protest against SIR in Kerala’s Kozhikode.
“I want to tell Mr Modi, Shah and Gyanu (Gyanesh Kumar), in this country, you are in jail, we are outside,” he said.

#Watch | Actor-activist Prakash Raj on Monday (October 19, 2026) said the protest over alleged SIR irregularities was snowballing into a nationwide movement, with the SKM joining the agitation.
Mr. Raj said he had attended a meeting of around 200 organisations in Delhi, where the Samyukt Kisan Morcha announced its decision to join the protest.
Recalling the farmers' agitation against the three farm laws introduced by the Narendra Modi government, he said the SKM had called on farmers' organisations to join the protest on October 23.
