I’ve spent my entire career working toward this moment. Six years of my life dedicated to building the heat shield that will make this possible. One day very soon, this won’t be a rendering. And when that day comes, I don’t know how I’ll process it… This is what it’s all been for. 🚀

Being treated almost just like another Starlink launch.

NASA has given us lots of information of Starship HLS, this is a very real vehicle with tons of work being put into it. SpaceX has nearly completed HLS Cabin One, a 1:1 matching of the real flight cabin for astronaut testing operations. SpaceX will likely show off the hardware for it within 2 months (this month is a high contender) The Artemis III Starship will have its docking system integrated by the end of the year and have its emulator and communications delievered in early 2027, this Ship will perform cryo and static fire tests in Q2 2027. HLS landing legs to be demonstrated in Q2 of 2027 along with Cabin One's airlock. Orbital refueling test of Starship set for Q1 of 2027! Pad LC-37 to be ready in Q1 2027 (already was known) First Cape and V3 booster reflight in Q4 of 2026, this may mean 3 more flights this year? Tank pressurization upgrades to SuperHeavy (?) Uncrewed HLS lannding mission in Q4 2027 with tankers.

Future fun Roadster demos will include flying over the Snake River or maybe Grand Canyon and landing on its wheels and exceeding half the speed of sound
Turns out the future does have flying cars

Elon Musk sticks with his 2026 target for SpaceX landing humans on Mars: September 2016 – "If things go super well, it might be kind of in the 10 year timeframe" December 2020 – "6 years from now, I think highly confident" cnbc.com/2020/12/01/elon-mus…

Best thing about this app: you can just tag the head of NASA and he might answer.
We still want all the downrange capability for Artemis IV and beyond.

Let’s just say that this demo will be a BANGER, probably metaphorically, though some chance literally

Feeling optimistic about this update. If this was something bad, Isaacman wouldn't have been talking about it for some time. Worst case scenario is Artemis III slipping from June 2027 to Late 2027, or Artemis V moving from 2028 to 2029, but both would still be amazing.
Join us on Oct. 23 for an update on our plans to return American astronauts to the Moon by 2028. NASA leadership will also give details on the upcoming Artemis III mission to test critical systems needed for future Moon landings. go.nasa.gov/4hNAvjO

Soyuz MS-10 was launched eight years ago today. The third time the emergency launch escape system has been activated in history (all on Soyuz rockets) and most recent one. Let's hope it stays that way.

So, it's looks like Starship Flight 15 will be a full recovery mission (ship & booster catch). We haven't seen a catch at Starbase since Flight 8, 583 days ago...

Absolutely amazing, though very risky in my opinion as Super Heavy still has problems with the Raptors.
Starship Flight 15 is expected in 4-6 weeks and will attempt to catch BOTH Booster and Ship!

These are the engines that will help return American astronauts to the surface of the Moon, and they’re ready for Artemis IV.

SpaceX may be living one of its best times ever: - Starship just went orbital and is now operational. - 4 (!) Return to Launch Site landings in just under 13 hours. - Just launched and docked astronauts to te ISS. - Became the first company to launch 3 times in a single day.
SpaceX launched five missions in the last six days. • Sep 26 — USSF-385, Falcon 9 • Sep 28 — Starship Flight 14 • Oct 1 — Crew-13, Falcon 9 • Oct 1 — Transporter-18, Falcon 9 • Oct 1 — NROL-97, Falcon Heavy Three of them launched in less than 13 hours.
