So What Happened to Next Model Rocket? On Wednesday, September 25th, 5 days after launch, NMR went down. This was due to photos duplicating and causing a huge storage issue that used 540% of our limit. The software we were using to store data then cut us off. 🧵👇

Final flights of the year. Then we will focus this winter on building the next 2 Vortex-1 rockets.

Our next two flights will be our final flights of the year. These will be the CP-14 Mission 2 and The S5-3 Mission. We are standing down from the 2 stage attempt for now. Launch is being targeted for Saturday, September 26th.

Vortex-1 Flights for next year. This is Preliminary and we could have more. V1-3 On an F50-6T V1-4 On an G80-7T Vortex-1 L1 Certificatation Flight on an I500T.

On Sunday, September 13th at 1:30 PM, Vortex-1 returned to the skies on our second flight! The vehicle reached an altitude of about 400 feet. The Booster separated from the upper segment and had a hard landing. The Booster section is still in good shape and will be repaired.
