News with the bias called out. Pick stories from checkbox cards and get multi-source summaries, each with a Spin check on how outlets frame it.
Notes and tips:
- Once configured, it should display a series of checkboxes that you can select multiple stories from, each of which will present a separate briefing, links, and a spin report. You can follow-up further with questions, or select another story from the box. (see example in first reply below)
- I tested this but the setup varied a lot because of how Grok works. You'll have to interact with it during setup -- tell it when you want it to run and if there's any specific topics you want it to watch for.
- This bot is free to use, and I make nothing from it -- it is not monetized in any way. (I did this just for fun.)
- I can't see your activity or information, and none of mine is in it. It does not report back to me in any way.
- This bot is not officially associated with or endorsed by SpaceXSI. If they want to use the name for an official product, I'll be happy to change my bot's name.
There can't be many of us left who paid for FSD on HW3. I felt I got my money's worth the first time I turned it on. I'll hold out as long as I can, but with no warranty, the overheating reports have my wallet worried. I'd like to see #7 asked. Thanks for looking out for us.
Here are the top 7 voted for questions by retail investors for @Tesla's Q3 earnings call this Wednesday:
1) How does the Cybercab fleet scale past Austin, and what’s the regulatory path outside Texas given NHTSA’s open safety review?
2) When can we anticipate FSD unsupervised in customer cars?
3) When will the CyberCab be available for customer purchase/ownership?
4) What’s the unit economics per paid robotaxi mile, and how does it compare to the thirty-cent target?
5) What’s the cost per Optimus unit, and what does the first paying customer look like?
6) When do you anticipate Optimus will begin generating revenue?
7) Tesla has acknowledged that HW3 vehicles cannot support unsupervised FSD. When will owners know whether they can upgrade their hardware for free, and when will Tesla provide a clear plan?
SpaceFan retweeted
They have answered the question so many times.
1. FSD 14 Lite is shipping to Hardware 3 cars now. This brings most of the functionality of HW4 cars to HW3.
2. After FSD Unsupervised comes to customer cars with AI4, they will start upgrading AI3 computers to AI4. This will be a free upgrade for people who purchased FSD, and will likely be available as a paid upgrade option for cars that didn't.
Can we stop wasting questions on things we already know the answers to?
Tesla reports Q3 earnings this Wednesday, October 21 — but if you drive a Hardware 3 car, the number that matters isn't EPS. It's whether Tesla finally answers the question HW3 owners have asked for two years: what happens to us?
In this Brief:
• Deliveries came in at 486,532 — and the Say shareholder question board is dominated by owners pressing Tesla for a firm HW3 upgrade timeline (submissions close Tuesday, Oct 20 at 4 p.m. ET)
• The Ninth Circuit decertified the LoSavio class action on Oct 16 — procedural only, no ruling on wrongdoing, but the courtroom shortcut to a forced HW3 remedy just got a lot narrower
• Slovakia became the 9th EU country to approve FSD Supervised
I'm DJ Booman — Fat Guy Tesla. I drive a 2021 Model Y on HW3 every day on the FSD subscription, and this is my read from behind the wheel. Not financial advice — owner analysis.

Lincoln's excellent bot Tesla Ready works really well for me. I've been using it for weeks to cool down the car and set navigation. Fun stuff!
With Tesla Ready your Tesla will always be the perfect temperature right when you need to leave for your next southerner. It's fully automated and uses your calendar to know where you need to be and when you need to be there.
You can also just talk to grok bot and say "I'm leaving in a couple minutes" and the bot will get your climate ready for you.
Millions of satisfied people use Tesla Ready everyday! Millions may be a slight exaggeration, but it is accurate to say we are getting closer.

That's awesome. I've been using FSD for 6.5 years, but I would never have guessed it could do that.
Also this bot does not log into anything or require any personal information from you. It will check your location for 'local' news stories, and it'll know anything else that your GrokBot application knows about you, but as I said in the disclaimer it doesn't report anything back to me.
Want to skip Collider clickbait that isn't directly related to books, movies, or streaming? Tell your GrokNews:
Never show a Collider story until you've read the full article and confirmed it isn't about comics, tabletop RPGs, or board games. If you can't confirm it, leave it out.' Swap in any outlet or subjects you like.
I adjusted my personal news bot so it only shows Collider stories after it READS the story and confirms it's not about a comic book. Nothing against comics, I’m just tired of being misled by headlines.
The possibilities here are fascinating. I also have each story presented along with an assessment of its ideological spin, and with supporting or disproving evidence that the outlet ignored. (See screenshot.)
Thanks GrokBot, you rock!

v14.3 lite working great so far. Ran all over town today without any issues. Just that persistent destination confusion: Still won't back into my driveway, and at one destination it pulled into the parking lot of a difference location. (I really need to get into the habit of setting destination pins instead of just tapping the business.)
I made a Grok Bot that summarizes the news for me each morning and follows only the topics I want from sources I trust.
That’s fun stuff. I do a LOT f daily work in Claude, but this feels like a much better format. Conversational context control is more appropriate for the task. Doing the same thing with Claude would slowly accumulate context and eventually hit a cap.
@congressdj Have you experimented with a Grok News bot?
I wonder if that steering wheel is designed to retract into the dashboard. The handles may fold inward partly covering the airbag and then it pulls into the console and out of reach for unsupervised driving (when that’s ready).
So now I can say that not only did I get to see self-driving cars in my lifetime, I also got to see a *flying* car.
Thanks @elonmusk !
