Brilliant and inspiring talk indeed @Dr_ThomasZ. 🚀🔭🌌Thanks @AeroSociety for organising it! 🙂
Brilliant talk in London by @Dr_ThomasZ tonight @RoyalAeroAU on the James Webb Telescope. Getting past 344 potential single point failures is mind blowing. What a mission.

Great to see the @MDA_space LIDAR in action during field trials at Spaceport America, before it heads to the Moon.
Developed in the UK, the instrument uses light pulses to generate a 3D map of the surrounding area, perfect for helping spacecraft land on tricky terrain.
MDA joined @Int_Machines in @Spaceport_NM for a field trial to test MDA’s space LIDAR (LEIA) for their IM-2 mission, which will aim to fly one of the first commercial missions to the South Pole of the Moon! 🌑 @spacegovuk
Great to hear about the deployment and #MAGIC Magnetometer is performing well! Proud of @IC_SpaceAtmos and #radmag team I worked with 😊🛰
Our latest shoebox-size #CubeSat - RadCube for #SpaceWeather - has extended a magnetometer boom longer than itself to monitor Earth's magnetic field & space radiation, supported by #Hungary, #Poland & #UK our #ESATech #ImageOfTheWeek #SpaceSafety #CubeSats esa.int/ESA_Multimedia/Image…

It was wonderful to talk with Minister Amanda Solloway today about women in the UK space sector.
There's lots of things we can do to make the sector more inclusive and diverse, and we're sure WIA-E UK will lead the way. 👩🚀🚀🇬🇧 #WomenInScience @WIAE_UK
I want as many talented women and girls as possible to pursue a career in the UK's space sector. 🚀
It was great to discuss championing diversity and inspiring more women into space. 👩🚀💪#WomenInScience
