Southill Hub was the venue for a wonderful Christmas dinner for members of the Dining Club, Family Resource Centre and Limerick Social Services, who are living and working in Southill earlier this week.
Organised by Limerick Social Service Council CLG, friends and neighbours gathered together to get into the Christmas spirit.
Head Chef Bernard Ledger and his team served a traditional turkey and ham dinner, followed by desert. DJ Mark provided Christmas music ensuring a very enjoyable afternoon for all present.

It was so good!
The only thing better than a lunch grown 10 feet from your office window is knowing the small, excited hands that planted it. Thank you to the children in the Southill Afterschool Club for being awesome urban farmers & to @Southill1 for proudly stocking their harvest #community🥬
We are delighted to see this! So great!

Solidarity with @NorthsideFRC ✊ This will continue to happen across the whole country until the government and our funders listen and make the necessary changes. The Community & Voluntary Sector is wilting and so are many of the incredible staff that keep our services open.
We will mark the UN International Day of the Eradication of Poverty on 17th October by taking A DAY OF ACTION. We will protest the funding crisis and pay disparity in the Community & Voluntary Sector. More details to follow. @BigStartIreland @SIPTUCommunity @forsa_union_ie
