Time for some football!
We hope everyone has a great weekend of watching.

Did everyone see the unsportsmanlike flag thrown on the Texas player last weekend? Seems pretty harsh, calling it on someone who was obviously putting out what he thought was a grass fire. That's the Texas Athletic Department's story and they are sticking to it. #NCAAfootball
Another great weekend of games on the schedule.

The NCAA just pulled a fast one on the transfer portal this week. The Committee decided to ditch the spring transfer window but left everyone hanging about the dates for the new single transfer window. Rumor has it, it might be a 10-day sprint in January.
Honestly, we think colleges should just go old-school and pay players under the table or give them those "jobs" that don't really exist. You know, like being the official "grass waterer" for the team. #ncaafootball #collegefootball #southeastcommercial
Some big college games happening this weekend. We are looking forward to the discussion of expanding the playoffs to 132 teams after the season after finding out who is not in this year.
Have a great football weekend.

Breaking News: SEC Announces Cost-Saving Measure
This week, the Southeastern Conference announced a surprising new rule: replacing official’s flags with beer cans. The change is expected to significantly reduce the costs associated with laundry and officiating uniforms.
The Commissioner said they were unaware of how easily beer cans could be thrown or how readily available they were. He also noted that using them would make officials more comfortable when dealing with objects on the field, as they would be accustomed to them being nearby.
Additionally, the SEC announced plans for a study to replace sideline chains with plastic bottles for similar cost-saving reasons.
We hope you enjoy your football weekend.

How important is football in Texas and the south? When you, as Mayor of Dallas, are willing to alienate 12,000 of your voting constituents, you are all in.
