This island isn’t for vacation. Pueblo South junior Desmond Burton came up with a Sportcenter-worthy one-handed interception last night. This was his first of two INTs against Central in a 44-0 route over the Wildcats. #COLTure | #COPreps | #TheBrand

𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐋. The goal was to focus on our attention to detail, focus on each other, on our brothers and the result was a seven touchdown shutout against Central. Hard to to pick any one singular performance in this one. MJ Molina (@MJ_Molina13) was masterful. Julio Araujo-Espinosa (@Julio9Araujo) ran hard. Landen Cordova (@landen_cordova), Israel Allen (@IsraelJAllen1), Brandon Norris, Maverick Hurley found the house a time or two. The defense was FLYING around. And yet, we’re still dirt. We are going to enjoy this one with our brothers, take in those special moments and prepare for a big one next week. Excited to continue to work toward playing our best ball. Extended stats on MaxPreps at a later date. #COLTure | #COPreps | #TheBrand

𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐋. Israel Allen (@IsraelJAllen1) joins the 3 Touchdown Club as he connects with MJ Molina (@MJ_Molina13) on 3 separate scores. Jorge Araujo-Espinosa (@itsJA567) rushed for a touchdown and threw a 2pt conversion to Landen Cordova (@landen_cordova) to round out the scoring for the Colts in a 28-7 route of the Canon City Tigers. Defensively the Colts were flying around, notching a couple turnovers pass deflections and tackles for loss.
