I’m Latina and I voted for Trump; I would never vote for a Democrat. However, instead of attacking María Elvira, the president and everyone else should listen to her. She is not asking for amnesty. What she wants is what Hispanics want: for people who are in a legal immigration process, who work, pay taxes, and have no criminal record not to be deported, just as Trump promised during the campaign. It is a fact that Hispanics are drifting away from the GOP, and they could lose Florida and Texas in the midterms.
