BRASS! 🎺🎷🎙
Brass instruments sound amazing when recorded properly, but can sound comical if done badly 🙃
Here's our top tips for recording brass instruments in a studio.
5️⃣ Cover the basics "at source".
Always try to "get it right" at source... or as close to it as poss. If you have a high-pass filter at your disposal in the recording stage, use it to clean up the sound & reduce unwanted frequencies on the way in. Ain't nobody got time for that!
Got any questions about any of these points? Or would you like to book in to record some brass instruments for your songs?
