It’s my least played Halo game. It’s decent now, but it took way too long to get there, and it still lacks a lot of what made classic Halo so enjoyable and memorable. Player collision, friendly fire, red team vs blue team, etc.

I’m finding myself agreeing with this review, unfortunately. Which is a shame, because I love the original Gears games almost as much as Halo. Even Gears of War 4 was pretty good, but E-Day is boring me to death with the open world segments.

It's just funny to me they were perfectly fine this whole time with everything being overwritten or removed, but the second it even becomes a remote possibility for 343 lore to die only NOW is it a bad thing.
