Halloween Festival Is Here!
Collect Rare Halloweeb Festival Cosmetics (8 October – 5 November)
Skull Night is a new endless dungeon. Skulls keep coming until you fall. There is no boss, only survival.
It sits at the top of the Dungeon Finder and is open to everyone, with no requirements. It is only available during the festival.
Runs are ranked by how long you survive, in seconds. The Solo and Team leaderboards are separate.
Every day at 11:45 UTC the top 3 Solo runs and top 3 Team runs receive Trick Or Treat Tokens by in-game mail: 60 for 1st, 40 for 2nd and 25 for 3rd. Every member of a placing party gets the reward. Both leaderboards then reset for the next day.
The first payout is on Friday 9 October at 11:45 UTC. Runs made before the festival starts do not count.
Halloween Dailies
Three daily quests reward 10 Trick Or Treat Tokens each and reset at 11:45 UTC:
Seeds of the Season (Wigdis Itchcroft): forage 5 Pumpkin Seeds. While the quest is active, Pumpkin Seeds can drop from foraging nodes of every tier.
Skull Sweeper (Leva Ernsthex): defeat 1,000 skulls in Skull Night.
Pumpkin Harvest (Belladonna Crowe): harvest pumpkins 5 times, then hand in 10 Pumpkins.
Pumpkin Seeds now grow Pumpkins. Each plant yields 4–5 Pumpkins after 5–7 hours.
Pumpkins are untradable.

Are you ready for a new challenge?
Ironman Mode is launching into Soulbound: Online as a new opt-in challenge. When you create a character, you can select Ironman Mode to play at a crazy new difficulty level. But be aware, this choice is permanent, so make sure you're ready to face it.
What is Ironman Mode?
If you select Ironman Mode, your character will become completely self-sufficient. You’ll have no support from other players and must earn, gather, and fight for every scrap of progression.
In Ironman Mode, characters cannot:
Trade with other players
Join parties or use Dungeon Finder matchmaking. Dungeons must be tackled solo, and party- up zones will send you in alone.
Pick up items dropped by other players
Enter other players' apartments or rentables
Use the Auction House
How will I know who’s an Ironman?
Ironman characters will have a helmet badge on their nameplate so you’ll always know who’s with you in the trenches.
What if I don't choose Ironman Mode?
Nothing changes! If you don't select Ironman Mode in character creation, you'll continue playing as you did before. You can still access the Auction House, enter other players' homes, trade items, join parties, etc.
Are you ready for a new challenge?
Step up the difficulty by choosing Ironman Mode and see how far you can go on your own! Good luck Pioneers, you're going to need it.

Patch 2 is LIVE!
Soulbound: Online has had its second patch since the start of Early Access, and it was a doozy.
Massive improvements have been made to fix connection issues and to increase dungeon performance/stability. Players are enjoying daily live events where they can collect new cosmetics, mounts, and pets! Big decisions have been made regarding Early Access, and many other player concerns have been addressed.
Regular patches and updates will be dropping, all of which you can read on Steam or the Soulbound website (link in bio). Thank you for all the love and support ❤️
⛏️ NPC’s in an MMO world 🎮
Here are two Arcadia miners, some of the many familiar faces within Soulbound: Online. These NPC’s are made in a pixel-art style and are used to bring life to Arcadia.
Each miner has three distinct animations: idle, their walk, and something unique to them. Their unique idle animation helps make these NPCs appear more natural, particularly when they are in a group.
Although they do look similar, there are some noticeable differences between these two miners; can you spot them? 👀
How do you unwind after battling through a dungeon? ✨
Adventures from far and wide visit Teshimi to kick back and have some fun. Here, players can hang out, chat, and show off their killer cosmetics.
With its epic techno-dystopian appearance, multiple floors, and large dance floor, it's no surprise that this in-game location is often used to host community events. 🌃 🎧

🎨Ultra Rare Pixel-Art Skin!👾
Bugfinder is a rare skin from Soulbound: Online. Our artists work hard to create unique, iconic, and insane looking skins that players can earn in-game. Wearing a cool skin can quickly become part of your character's identity, helping you stand out in the streets of Arcadia.
As you can see, skins are built from the ground up and require an artist to design the front, back, and sides so players look great no matter which direction they are facing.
Have you ever made a pixel-art skin? ✨
🖌️From a handful of pixels to a fully automated turret 🎮
Every object in Soulbound: Online starts with a need (like an epic turret to keep players on their toes 👀). From there, our artists must consider how players will interact with the item; players should be able to instantly recognise a potential threat, especially one as big as the automated turret.
Blocks of colour are used to establish the general shape of the turret before details are added one step at a time. Shading, highlights, and texture all play important roles in giving the turret depth and helping it fit seamlessly into the world.
Have you encountered the automated turret yet? ⚔️
🍲 Cooking with Granny Smith
Soulbound: Online is filled with quests from epic adventures to quiet cooking challenges. Granny's Gumbo is one of the first tasks in the game and offers the player the opportunity to provide the small town of Virelda with a delicious feast during a difficult time.
Within this quest, players are taught valuable skills and given key information, such as where to buy seeds and how to build a cooking station. This cosy mini-adventure takes you deeper into the pixel-art world of Soulbound and lets you connect with the townspeople of Virelda. 🥕🍽️
For game developers, these types of quests are crucial. They help players build an emotional connection with the game and give them something to protect when danger arises.
