Very much looking forward to attending @SundShortsFilm and, in particular, seeing the Horror programme on Friday night at the Royalty Theatre. Very proud to see what former student Chris Allan (who is now making me feel very old) has done with the festival. #horrornu
🍿 And we’re off! What a great opening night at @FireStationSun to kick start Sunderland Shorts 2024. A massive thanks to the amazing audience, the fantastic filmmakers for sharing their work, local favourite @KellyScottRadio for hosting and BBC Look North for joining in the fun!
Another fantastic poster by the team at @GrossmannFest If you are looking for a fun summer film festival to attend, check it out! (and check out their previous posters - each one a banger)

The future of the iconic Cinema Nova (and home of Offscreen Film Festival) is now secured following an impressive fundraising campaign. It has long been a space where non-mainstream and alternative cinema can have a home and be celebrated. #horrorNU

The trailer for this year's Offscreen Film Festival is better than even (and it is normally pretty amazing). There is a real art to doing these and Offscreen are masters of the craft. #Offscreen #HorrorStudiesResearchGroup @HorrorStudies
