🌳 "The quality of the singing, instrumental playing and poetry reading was breath-taking and made all the more memorable by the wonderful colour contrasts of the gardens...It was a privilege to participate as well as a totally new experience for me. Thank you all."

🌳 "Wow - what an uplifting event! I really enjoyed the beautiful singing and the violin part in the fields. The programme was so well thought out. Probably the highlight for me was the wassailing in the orchard. I felt really alive and uplifted, and so lucky to be there."

Also really special to have some of the Oxfordshire Mind members with us, who had written a new verse to our Apple Wassail in our workshops leading up to the event. Here are a few comments we had:

This was our 4th year at @OxfordSong & we're so grateful for their support allowing us to develop these SongPaths. They're not your average concert -we carefully curate outdoor, interactive events around the place, with music, poetry, movement, walking, talking (& apple juice🍎)

Thanks Sasha Knezevic for these lovely photos of our latest @SongPath with @OxfordSong! They capture some magical moments we had in beautiful autumnal @WorcCollegeOx gardens with Flora Curzon (violin), Phil Muil (qigong), Alex Mills (composer) & Simon Bagnall (head gardener).

It's #WorldMentalHealthDay today & we've been working with Oxfordshire Mind this morning. Afterwards @Joanna_Harries dropped by the beautiful lake @WorcCollegeOx gardens, where we'll welcome you for our @OxfordSong event this Sunday bringing together music, nature & mental health

We can't wait to welcome you with this wonderful team: 🎵 Jess Dandy & Joanna Harries (singers) 🎻 Flora Curzon (violin) ☯️ Phil Muil (tai chi) 🎼 Alex Mills (composer) 🌱 Simon Bagnall (Head Gardener) songpath.co.uk

We'll be walking, talking & music-making in nature, including: 🌊 Violin melodies by the lake 🌳 Tai chi & music under the trees 🍎 Apple Wassails with apple juice from the orchard trees @OxfordSong have just released a few extra tickets - they are the very last we can squeeze!

"O heav'ns, what content is mine To see these trees, which have appeared, From the nativity of time" 🌳 Purcell 'O Solitude' Here's one of the veteran trees in @WorcCollegeOx gardens, beautiful & thick-trunked, where you'll hear this sung at our SongPath this Sunday 13 October

Just three weeks until our next SongPath in Oxford! Here's the beautiful lake @WorcCollegeOx when we visited last week, with the autumnal leaves just turning fiery. 🌳 SongPath @OxfordSong 🍂 Sun 13 Oct 🍄 10:30am-12:15pm 🌰 Worcester College Gardens songpath.co.uk
