JD saw that clip where Trump said he wouldn't be his successor in 2028 and I guess he decided that his first move should be to get on camera, attack a rape victim and defend a woman who sided with her pedophile husband in hopes that it would make Donald reconsider his position.
WOW -- Vance *defends* Ramaswamy's reprehensible ad 👇
Q: Ramaswamy's campaign put out a controversial ad featuring his opponent's mother. Some Republicans are backing away from that. Do you think that ad was appropriate?
JD VANCE: Well, I'll be honest with you. Whether the ad was appropriate or not is not really my concern. My concern is who is gonna govern. I have to admit I'm a little bit disgusted when I see Republicans who are whining more about that ad than they are about what the Democrats want to do.
The way both this moron AND his wife grift on pretending to be former Democrats when there are literally screenshots of him being pro-Trump that go back to before his first term even began.
Like... gurl. 💀
Republicans have spent years fearmongering with claims that trans people are "coming for your kids" and when it never happened, they impersonated a trans organization and committed mail fraud to target children and direct GOP violence towards the org they were masquerading as.
After digging into this for two days… I’m fairly certain this was done by Republicans in an effort to anger you enough to make you vote.
Have we become so desperate to secure votes that we are willing to compromise our morals, values, and principles to get them?
Children were sent materials explaining how to pursue emancipation from their parents and directing them to resources that could assist them with gender transitioning.
We are talking about minors, including children who may already be struggling with questions about their identity, being given information about potentially life-altering decisions without their parents necessarily knowing.
If anyone is willing to excuse this simply because they believe it might benefit their political side, we have a much bigger problem.
Children are not political pawns. Their vulnerability should never be exploited for a vote.
We cannot claim to care about protecting children while abandoning those principles whenever doing so becomes politically inconvenient.
If winning requires us to compromise the very values we claim to defend, what exactly have we won? Nothing. I’m disgusted.
FYI, House and Senate: him saying this at all is grounds to remove him from office.
Mind you, he's done and said several dozen things over the last two years that any other President would've been impeached and thrown in jail for already, but still.
Trump: "If you elected a Republican House and Senate on November 3, you're gonna get $5,000. And if we lose, you get nothing. You're gonna get nothing! If we lose, you get nothing. Make it a lot easier vote."
It's scenes like this that will always drag me out to yell "PLEASE watch the Japanese version from start to finish at least once" because -oh my god- this moment loses all of it's aura, intensity and impact without the original OST and SFX.
There was no trial or conviction because, after being indicted by a grand jury for sexually-abusing his preteen daughter for years, he fled the state and stayed on the run from arrest warrants until he died, you miserable, inbred, carbine harvester accident-faced Neanderthal.
Very happy to hear @VivekGRamaswamy is doubling down on the ad.
Zero trial. Zero conviction.
We don’t make false rape accusations in America.
If you accuse someone of rape you need evidence. Enough evidence for a trial and conviction.
Amy Acton is a radical leftist.
A vote for Amy is a vote for the Islamic communist takeover of America.
Vote for @VivekGRamaswamy
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
He never stood trial because he skipped out on bail and fled the state.

Texas Democrat candidates have the opportunity to do the funniest thing by issuing a statement vowing to track down and prosecute anyone involved in the funding, printing and mailing of these pamphlets for registering a fake LLC and committing mail fraud by impersonating TENT.
I know that @FBI @FBIDirectorKash @TheJusticeDept etc don't bother going after Republicans these days, but I'm fairly certain that @BuzzPatterson openly threatening to murder a sitting US Senator online warrants a house call.
As someone who survived 6+ years of abuse because my mother chose to protect her demonic husband over her kids:
@VivekGRamaswamy doesn't need to just leave the race; he needs to leave the fucking planet. Ask Elon to borrow one of this rockets, go and never come back, asshole.
So, to recap, @VivekGRamaswamy ran a smear ad against his opponent using her estranged mother, who lost custody of her kids because her husband sexually-abused her daughter and she chose him over her children.
There is no low that Republicans will not stoop to.

I was a Republican staffer and fundraiser for 13 years. What @SenatorSlotkin is saying isn’t wrong. The GOP as constituted is a criminal enterprise, her saying this is no different than a prosecutor going after the mob saying I hope our prosecutions keep kids out of the mob.
ON UCHICAGO CAMPUS: U.S. Senator from Michigan Elissa Slotkin hopes planned political prosecutions of republican leaders will scare young conservatives from getting involved in politics.

This man, @mrddmia, who is suggesting I be shot, was in the mix to be President Trump's next Attorney General after he fired Pam Bondi for not prosecuting more of his political opponents. He is now at a MAGA dark money group, mobilizing death threats against me and my staff for sport.
This shouldn’t be controversial: if you aid in stealing taxpayer money or directing it to enrich President Trump or his family, then you should be held accountable for that crime. That’s what I said, and I stand by it.
And if you use the justice system for frivolous lawsuits used to intimidate and jail your political opponents, you should be held accountable for that via your bar status. No abuse of power and not violating the law? Then we have no problem.
We know most Republican politicians are desperate to change the topic from their failing agenda. That’s how this kind of coordinated right-wing media play works. The threats and intimidation — of me, my staff, and my family — *are the point* of this kind of play. This dude and so many others are just hoping that we'll shut up in response.
Not going to happen.
The response to @ElissaSlotkin's comments from Conservatives make it clear that the GOP portion of this country openly, proudly believes that Republicans should be allowed to commit crimes and any sentiment that the law should apply to them should be quashed.
It is horrifying.
And I am so f*cking sick of seeing the most braindead, uninformed hot takes from the dumbest inbred people on the planet crying about how evil political persecution is while replying to every instance of this administration actively doing it with "THIS IS WHAT I VOTED FOR!"
