I’ve written a lot about @themutualfun over the last few days because I genuinely find the experiment interesting, and that hasn’t changed. But I also know @CrypSaf and GEMs, and I think it’s only fair that I speak from my own experience. Safz is genuinely one of the best community founders I’ve met in this space. The amount of attention he puts into the smallest details, making sure things are fair and trying to create situations where everyone wins together, is something I’ve seen firsthand many times. I could give plenty of examples, but there’s no need to turn this into a long thread. I’m also a member of many communities across the space, including GEMs, and calling the entire community a “botter community” simply doesn’t reflect the GEMs I know. When you see how much time and effort Safz puts into building and protecting his community, I can understand why being reduced to “the founder of a botter community” would be difficult to hear. People can disagree. Founders have every right to curate their allowlist however they want. Communities also have every right to defend their reputation when they feel they’ve been misrepresented. I can only speak about what I’ve personally experienced, and my experience with Safz and GEMs has been nothing but respect I hope this ends with mutual respect and everyone keeps building 🤝
