OK fixing linux-driver-management in @SolusProject, which has an optimus control method predating glvnd. Making it launch on the iGPU and support opt-in dGPU launching via desktop integration, ie what folks expect today. Tldr will be less tearing, more battery.

Can confirm I was reached out to this evening. Domain transfer should occur by end of week (this is done by the domain registrar, no means for me to expedite it). Zone content has been provided as well, so they have all up-to-date DNS records for the registrar of their choosing.

GNOME 41 is being pushed early to #Solus stable repo! Not by choice mind you, sheer amount of changes and @discord pushing an update that breaks usability of the existing client necessitating it. But hey, early goodies. Not like much would've changed in the couple days anyways 😛

Updated @SolusProject to the GNOME 41 Stack in unstable already (mind you that some things are RCs or betas given 41 isn't out until the 22nd). Given the smaller scale of changes in this release, I don't see any reason (yet) for the usual deferring of sync to stable for a week.

Given the state of GTK4, GNOME's intentions wrt. theming, future w/ GTK5, and lack of confidence that GNOME is producing an equitable ecosystem for the Linux community, Solus will be working to build an ecosystem with EFL. Budgie 11 will not use GTK. joshuastrobl.com/2021/09/14/…
