This is what solo mining looks like on SoloFury 👇
I'm pretty much new to all of this, but I suspect there's nothing quite as interesting as a busy mining chart. You can start your own here for free (+1% block fee). Good luck ! 😎solofury.com/pool/

NiceHash vs MiningRigRentals vs Braiins Hashpower: we compared all three for solo mining.
KYC: required / discretionary / discretionary
Fee: 3% / 3% / 0% spot (beta)
BCH: ✅ / ✅ / only extranonce2 ≥7
Before you rent hashrate:
1. NiceHash now requires full KYC
2. MRR refunds nothing for pool-side problems
3. A Braiins Hashpower balance can't be withdrawn
4. Most BCH pools fail Braiins' extranonce2 ≥7 rule

SoloFury is fully on DigiByte Core v9.26.7 — every DGB node synced on the same block, DigiDollar active, ready for Thaw Day at block 24,490,000.
One tip for other node and pool operators: on both v9.26.6 and v9.26.7, every restart rebuilds oracle prices and DigiDollar health before RPC answers. For us that meant 4 to 9 minutes per node with no block templates. Restart nodes one at a time and your pool never goes dark.
If you mine DGB on SoloFury, there's nothing to do on your side.
Thanks @DGBDevs for another solid release 🙏

All SoloFury DigiByte nodes are now on Core v9.26.6 — DigiDollar active, and ready for Thaw Day at block 24,490,000.
We measured before and after on a node that had been up for 23 days:
→ Total memory (RSS + swap): 8.2 GB → 3.7 GB, −55%
→ Swap pressure gone entirely
→ Drop-in upgrade, no reindex, pruned nodes fine
One heads-up for other pool operators: on first start v9.26.6 rebuilds the oracle price state over 172,800 blocks. RPC returns -28 until it finishes, so there are no templates for that window — 9 to 18 minutes for us, depending on hardware. Worth scheduling.
If you mine DGB on SoloFury, there's nothing to do on your side: the pool's nodes carry the upgrade, and your miners keep hashing through Thaw Day.
Thanks @DGBDevs for a solid release 🙏

Two deep dives on @DigiByteCoin for solo miners.
DigiByte explained: five algorithms, 15-second blocks, MultiShield from the source code.

We've crossed a few things off our wishlist. ✅
Two items got rejected by higher authorities: physics and accounting. 🙃
Now it's your turn: what would you love to see in SoloFury next?
A feature on the dashboard? An alert? A tool you wish existed? A chain? Something nobody does yet?
Drop it below. We read every reply, and the most requested ideas go on the roadmap. 👇

SoloFury is now built for the phone in your pocket 📱
We went through every page of the site on a small screen, in all 10 languages, and fixed what didn't feel right. Wide tables now scroll instead of getting cut off, the coin picker fits on screen, and the pool calendar stays readable.
What you can check from your phone:
• Live pool stats and your own workers
• Block explorer for all 6 SHA-256 chains
• The setup wizard, with the right stratum URL for your nearest region
• Coin pages with every server, port and failover
📲 It also installs like an app. It opens full-screen, straight on your pool dashboard:
🤖 Android: open solofury.com in Chrome and tap "Install app"
🍏 iPhone: open it in Safari, tap Share, then "Add to Home Screen"
On Android, long-press the icon for shortcuts to Dashboard, Block Explorer and Calculator.
BTC · BCH · BC2 · BCH2 · XEC · DGB
9 regions, 1% fee, non-custodial, no registration.

Introducing Block Info 🔥 a new block explorer for six SHA-256 chains: BTC, BCH, BC2, BCH2, XEC and DGB.
What is it? A place where every block tells its full story: who mined it, how the coinbase reward was split output by output, how long the network waited for it, and how to verify all of it yourself. The data comes straight from our own nodes, not from third-party explorers, and the index is checked every night for continuity.
Why we built it: explorers usually cover one chain, and minor SHA-256 chains rarely get the same level of detail as Bitcoin. Block Info treats all six the same way. It is also where we prove our own 1% pool fee on-chain, block by block.
A closer look at three chains:
₿ Bitcoin: pool attribution for every block, the difficulty epoch in one ring, block intervals and a live view of the mempool.
🟢 Bitcoin Cash: every SoloFury block has its 1% fee checked against the coinbase, and every one of them is verified on-chain.
🔵 DigiByte: SHA-256 blocks isolated from the five-algorithm chain, 2.38M blocks indexed, 75 s target, pool attribution and decoded coinbase for each block. @DigiByteCoin
It is still in beta and not complete yet: fee rates per block, live updates and a mining dashboard are on the way. Feedback is welcome.

One input. Two outputs. No opinions.
Bitcoin block 943,411. Not our block, not our pool — we picked someone else's on purpose, because the method doesn't care whose it is.
Advertised fee: 2%. Actual fee in the coinbase: 2.0000%, to four decimal places. And the transaction fees flowed into the split instead of around it, which is the check almost nobody runs and the place where money usually goes missing.
Clean.
Three things to check on any block, any chain, any pool. All three are in the image. The txid is too — paste it into mempool.space and every figure reappears.
Two minutes. No account, no node, no trust required.

80 bytes decide whether you found a block.
64 of them you can't touch — the previous block hash and the merkle root are fixed the moment the job arrives. That leaves 16 bytes, and one of them runs out almost immediately.
An Antminer S21 at 200 TH/s burns through all 4,294,967,296 nonces in 21 microseconds. Then it needs a fresh header. Forty-seven thousand times a second.
So where does it get one?
→ Bits 13–28 of the version field — mask 0x1fffe000, sixteen bits, 65,536 headers per sweep. That's AsicBoost, and your firmware is already doing it.
→ The coinbase transaction, which changes the merkle root. That's your extranonce.
→ ntime, one second at a time.
None of this is secret. It's in the Bitcoin Core source and in BIP 320, and it explains why "enable AsicBoost for free hashrate" is bad advice: there's nothing to enable, it's baked into your rated J/TH.

On 23 August, a new chain produced 25,092 blocks in 13 hours.
That's what happens when a Bitcoin fork resets difficulty to 1.
eCash (ECX) copies Bitcoin's ledger, credits every BTC holder 1:1, and keeps SHA-256. The permanent snapshot is Bitcoin block 973,728 — around 31 October.
We wrote down everything we could verify: dates, mining parameters, replay protection, and the dispute over ~500,000 Satoshi-linked coins.
No price predictions. Just what's checkable.

DigiByte is now fully live on SoloFury — all 9 regions, SV1 and TLS.
What happened while we were testing:
→ 20 blocks in 4 days
→ Four different miners won at least one
→ Every coinbase paid straight to the miner's own address
That second line is the one that counts. On a new solo pool it's easy to find blocks when you're the only serious hashrate on it. Four separate wallets in the coinbase means the chain is genuinely winnable by whoever shows up — one miner took two blocks three hours apart.
A Bitaxe averages a DGB block every 3-4 weeks. On Bitcoin the same device averages ~14,500 years. That's the whole point.
