This afternoon, @YutingLuo3 gave a great talk on her work on improving energy storage and diffusion in vanadium oxide cathode materials with @SarbajitBanerj1 . Excited to see what you do at @JHUMaterials !
So impressive! @ldjesus_ just gave an excellent talk on the exciting new results coming out of his lab @UBChemistry . Looking forward to more exciting results in the future!

Thanks to - E-Mobility Engineering for this piece on our article just published in @Patterns_CP @DA_Santos_ @JLAndrews_Chem w/@TUDarmstadt @CanLightSource @TAMUArtSci #vanadium emobility-engineering.com/re…
Some collaborations are built to last! Check out our “People of Data” interview in @patterns_cp where colleagues @DA_Santos_, Binbin Lin, and I discuss the story behind our use of hyperspectral data analytics to probe heterogeneities in cathode materials. doi.org/10.1016/j.patter.202…
In the interview we highlight the ways that data science has shaped our approach to materials characterization. We also discuss what it’s like working in an exciting international, interdisciplinary collaboration that has spanned several “generations” of graduate students.
Many thanks to @patterns_cp for the amazing opportunity to highlight our work and to our advisors @SarbajitBanerj1 @TAMUChemistry and Bai-Xiang Xu @TUDarmstadt for initiating and sustaining the collaboration and for their tireless support!

The students from the Materials Science Department sure chose an interesting way to communicate their anger to Texas A&M at not having access to MATLAB
Was enjoying a lovely elevator ride this morning when the power went out in the chemistry building. Fortunately I still have a full thermos of coffee. Unfortunately. @ldejesus_ was unable to successfully pry the door open.
Congratulations to @TAMUChemistry second-year Banerjee Group members David Santos and Nic Cool as well as outstanding Banerjee Group undergraduate researcher Jonathan van Buskirk!!! Very well-deserved.
Our newly minted @TAMUChemistry NSF GRFP fellows have desks right next to each other! Congratulations to David Santos and Nic Cool! We are so proud of your achievements.
