Trust me when I say you can have worked really hard for what you have and also be incredibly lucky. Keeping both the gratitude of having been blessed and the understanding that hard work pays off is a super power for building character and humility. Character and humility is the recipe for satisfaction in life. Character helps you know who you are and what brings you satisfaction. Humility helps you realize that your accomplishments are never strictly your own doing and that you are not boundless thus nor should your expectations be.
