NEW: Solar dominates new energy capacity additions for the 5th year in a row. Despite political setbacks, the solar industry installed 43GW in the first year of the Trump admin and, together with storage, comprised 79% of all new capacity. seia.org/news/report-u-s-add…

Before this man arrived in buffalo 🦬 we were bottom feeders of the AFC East, we had a 17 year playoff drought and if we were lucky maybe one primetime game a year. We all wanted a super-bowl but damn what McDermott did for this franchise on and off the field cannot be replicated. I know he’ll get a ring one day I just hope we do as well. The next move this franchise makes has to be the right one. #GoBills #BillsMafia
Dear Coach McDermott, Thank you. Thank you for taking over a franchise that was broken long before you arrived — and refusing to let it stay that way. Thank you for walking into Buffalo when hope felt fragile, when the playoff drought felt permanent, and when being a Bills fan meant bracing for disappointment. You didn’t just win games. You restored pride. You broke the drought before Josh Allen ever became Josh Allen. You taught this team how to work, how to believe, how to carry itself. You built a culture that mattered — one rooted in accountability, humility, and toughness. For the first time in a long time, the Buffalo Bills felt stable. They felt respected. They felt like a real organization again. You were a leader of men. Players trusted you. Fans trusted you. Families trusted you with something that mattered deeply to them. You felt like more than a coach — you felt like family. Like the uncle who shows up every year, does things the right way, and gives everything he has even when it’s not easy. We know football is a results business. We know the standard changes when you find a quarterback like Josh Allen. But that doesn’t erase what you gave, or how hard this is to accept. It doesn’t erase the 98 wins, the playoff nights, the belief, or the sense that for once… the Bills were safe in good hands. This ending hurts because it mattered. Because you mattered. No matter what comes next — for you or for this team — know this: Buffalo won’t forget what you did here. You helped heal something. You gave us years we’ll never take for granted. Thank you for the stability. Thank you for the dignity. Thank you for the culture. Once a Bill, always a Bill. With gratitude and respect, #BillsMafia

I have never seen leadership like this before. What an incredible guy to stay in the foxhole with his team knowing his season is over. @realmikehoecht is the real deal. #GoBills

Renewables lower bills. They have no fuel cost and covered all of Texas’ significant demand growth so far this year. But I get this question all the time: “If renewables are so cheap, why are my bills going up?” The biggest drivers of higher power prices are: ⚡ Distribution costs (the biggest factor by far) ⚡ The cost of natural gas, particularly in 2022 Consider this: states like West Virginia and Alabama — with almost no renewable energy — have seen electricity bills climb much faster than Texas: 50% more over the last 6 years. That wouldn’t be true if renewables were the problem. And looking forward: gas prices are projected to rise again, especially as liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports increase. That’s one of many reasons why renewables are so important. Once you build them, the “fuel” is free. Every megawatt of solar and wind added lowers the need for gas, driving down overall costs for consumers. So yes, prices are going up. And renewables are making power bills lower than they’d otherwise be. The more we build, and the higher gas costs go as LNG exports expand, the bigger that impact becomes. 🎧 Full quarterly report: tinyurl.com/56brtrzb #TexasEnergy #ERCOT #GridReliability #Renewables #EnergyEfficiency #EnergyTransition

LFG Please More Of This...... Speak The Truth...
Sen. Tillis is absolutely lighting up @AlexEpstein saying "the so-called philosopher" has "clearly never worked a day in the energy industry." He says he's sick of people who write white papers suggesting terrible policies that would obviously break the grid.

How the GOP Is Waging War on Clean Energy With The Big Beautiful Bill Ok folks, here the ask… Please call these offices today and ask them to “vote no on the One Big Beautiful Bill Act”. Thank you for your help as we are coming down to the wire on the Senate vote. It is expected anytime in the next 24 hours. 🔺 Lisa Murkowski (AK): (907) 271-3735, lnkd.in/gNQw3sVV 🔺 Thom Tillis (NC): (919) 856-4630, lnkd.in/ghXiXKa8 🔺 Susan Collins (ME): (207) 622-8414, lnkd.in/gYCkuC4c 🔺 John Curtis (UT): 801-524-4380, lnkd.in/g8AAavkg 🔺 Jerry Moran (KS): (913) 393-0711, lnkd.in/gjd-FuWx Some talking points, the provisions in the OBBBA related to Clean Energy: Will not make America great. They will spike electricity costs for every U.S. family and business They will severely handicap America in the artificial intelligence arms race with China. I understand Congress’ desire to sunset renewable energy tax credits, but this legislation is simply irrational. A vote for this bill is a vote against American competitiveness, a vote to kill hundreds of thousands of jobs A vote for this will raise energy prices for families and businesses across the country — all while doing next to nothing to address the deficit. xitter.cf/i/broadcasts/1YpKkBNML…
