It's genuinely strange that we've reached a point where bts can't simply say something without people questioning their intentions, reading between the lines or coming up with the most unhealthy narrative..At what point did we stop taking their words at face value ???

This is not how touring works at all.
There has to be promoters willing to bring BTS to the country. A group of BTS's stature requires a multi-million dollar guarantee per show before a single ticket is sold and, Promoters buy the act in USD but sell tickets in local currency which exposes them to massive exchange rate risks. You're south African, I assume, between January 2026 and November 2026, how much has the rand fallen against the dollar? Now run that maths for the two possible stops and what that means for the promoter considering that in addition to the booking fee, they have to ship in staggering amounts of custom staging, lighting, and pyrotechnics to a single African destination rather than driving it across a continent-wide routing like in Europe or North America or Australasia without decimating their profit margins.
How confident are you that a significant % of those coming to the BTS show can afford to pay the sky-high cost that'll be fixed by the promoter to ensure they break even from bringing BTS to any country?
