Congratulations to Jeroen Zethof to a successful dissertation and defense! 💐👏🎉
A pleasure to celebrate this event with amusing soil scientific challenges every PhD candidate knows... You nailed it, Jeroen!
Defended yesterday with great success my dissertation and survived the "real defense" by which I obtained a beautifully decorated mortarboard from my great colleagues of the @SoilTUD institute.

It's World Worm Week! Did you know earthworms have been described as ecosystem engineers because of their substantial influence on soil structure and functionality? They formed a life-long interest of Charles Darwin, who published his final book on his observtions of them 🪱🪱
