"Jobs that American's won't do", or "don't want" is what they claim. The reality is American's actually won't do the job for the wage they offer - that is the problem. Anyone who has actually hung sheetrock or did roofing back when illegals did not dominate the market would laugh at you now if you offered them a job hanging sheetrock at minimum wage, or even $10 and hour more than minimum wage for that matter.
Homebuilders say ICE crackdowns are making it hard to find workers. Immigrants make up over a quarter of the construction workforce, and more than half of workers in key trades, per Axios: Drywall installers: 57% Plasterers and stucco masons: 56% Roofers: 53% ICE arrested a record 50,925 people in August.

🚨BREAKING🚨 ATF has finally issued guidance following GOA’s historic NFA victory. The agency says it will no longer enforce federal registration and approval requirements for suppressors and short-barreled firearms for everyone, nationwide.
🚨BREAKING🚨 In GOA's case, a federal court just stuck down NFA registration for: ❌Suppressors ❌Short-Barreled Rifles ❌Short-Barreled Shotguns GOA & our allies in Congress eliminated the tax. The National Firearms Act of 1934 is now UNCONSTITUTIONAL as applied.

Psilocybin made human cells live 50% longer. A new study has uncovered surprising anti-aging potential in psilocin—the active metabolite produced when the body breaks down psilocybin, the psychoactive compound found in magic mushrooms. In laboratory experiments, researchers exposed two human cell lines (skin fibroblasts and fetal lung fibroblasts) to a 100 μM concentration of psilocin. The results were striking: lung cells took 57% longer to reach replicative senescence (the point at which cells permanently stop dividing and accumulate damage), while skin fibroblasts extended their replicative lifespan by 51%. These findings suggest psilocin may slow fundamental cellular aging processes, possibly by lowering oxidative stress, enhancing DNA-repair pathways, supporting mitochondrial health, or dampening chronic inflammation—mechanisms that overlap with those targeted by leading experimental longevity drugs. The benefits extended beyond cell culture. In aged female mice (19 months old at the start, equivalent to approximately 60–65 human years), a single monthly dose of psilocybin dramatically improved outcomes. After 10 months of treatment, 80% of the psilocybin-treated animals remained alive, compared with only 50% of untreated controls. Treated mice also displayed markedly fewer visible signs of aging, including reduced fur loss and graying. This research marks the first direct demonstration that psilocybin/psilocin can influence biological aging itself, rather than solely producing psychological effects. The authors emphasize that the study used relatively conservative dosing and are now advocating for follow-up work with higher or more frequent administration, detailed assessments of immune, metabolic, and cognitive function, and investigations into whether the extended lifespan corresponds to genuine improvements in healthspan and quality of life. Looks like they beat Cyberdyne to the development of the T-800.
🧬 Scientists grew living human skin on a robot A robotic finger just got something incredibly human — living skin. Researchers at the University of Tokyo grew skin from human cells directly on a working robotic finger. The cells formed layers similar to real human skin, including a dermis and an outer epidermis. As the robot moved, the skin stretched and bent with it. Even more fascinating, it developed natural-looking wrinkles around the joints. Then came the real surprise. Researchers made a small cut in the artificial skin, and with the help of a collagen bandage, the living cells gradually repaired the wound in about a week. The technology still has a major challenge: the living skin must stay moist to keep the cells alive. But this could be an early step toward robots with more realistic skin, smarter prosthetics, and machines that interact with humans in surprisingly lifelike ways. The future of robotics may not just be made of metal. It may be partly alive. Source: Kawai, Y., et al. Living skin on a robot. Matter, 5(7), 2190–2208.

Republicans: Why does it look loke a Dem sweep in the midterms and why are we having a hard time motivating independents to vote? This... among other things 👇
Sad to admit, but it seems the left are the only ones with enough guts and backbone to go arrest people. Nobody is above the law, but they might as well be when republicans act like a bunch of cowards.

Evidence that its not just "tech" that is getting the shaft by the foreign worker visa scam... Question is do we really want to go to the ER and be attended by a "physician" on H-1B with fake credentials? Are we willing to put our lives in their hands? Pro Tip: Do not go to Rockester General.
BREAKING: Rochester General Hospital in New York hired 82 resident doctors. 80 are foreign workers on H-1B or J-1 visas. Only 2 are Americans. 98% of the residency slots went to visa workers- mostly from countries with documented USMLE cheating. Americans got 2 jobs.
