I really don’t like the way yall are taking away from victorious’s overall success by saying it was just Dan Schneider and his tasteless writing. There were so many genuinely good parts of that show and that era that’s missing bc children’s media is constantly being dumbed down.
I don’t understand y’all on here. We say it takes a village to raise kids but m get upset when that said village is actually present 💀
Y’all have clearly never had a favorite aunt and it shows lmao. Or never been the favorite niece/nephew 💀(jokes) but seriously it seems like she’s closest to Dream because she’s helped raise her. Not fully taking the place of her mom obviously, but she loves her like her own

I’m just not seeing how blood being poured on an innocent girl at prom after being pronounced prom queen was funny 😭😭😭😭 that was super evil

Não adianta censurar o adesivo de "i kissed a girl" pq todos nós já decidimos q tori vega é lésbica e eles não vão conseguir apagar a história
Did you catch this reference in #HollywoodArts? Tori Vega’s iconic “Make It Shine” locker was recreated, inside and out, but with some very deliberate updates. They put an emoji over Dan Schneider’s face and added new quotes and stickers to cover a Katy Perry lyric.

Nightmare on elm street remake very well might be the worst horror remake of all time but it’s very funny when people say it’s bad because “they made Freddy a pedophile”, as if the original film does not also make Freddy being a pedo like blatantly obvious lol

how can tori and trina almost KILL each other and still be more present in each other’s lives than their parents ever were 🥸

Also .. unpopular opinion lol out of all the Freddy and Jason movies .. ima have to say the BEST one to me was Freddy Vs Jason 🏌🏽♀️😭 that’s a hill I’m willing to die on!!!
I know horror fans hate the Nightmare on Elm Street remake (2010) but my only complaint was Freddy’s face. I hated his look in this one
To piggyback off of my last tweet, an example of a kids show that aged well is That’s So Raven. It was a show meant for kids, but everyone could watch if they wanted because it was actually funny. It’s still funny as hell
And I hate the whole “it’s not for y’all’ or “you aren’t 8 anymore” because I can rewatch a lot of older shows and find them funny still. I’m not even completely against reboots because I thought the WOWP was decent, but if a show is bad it’s just bad 😭
Here’s the thing, no one minds more tv shows for tweens/teens. Our issue is that they keep recreating stuff instead of making original stuff for the kids. Honestly? I don’t think the new kids care about a lot of these remakes lmao. They barely watch Disney Channel and Nickelodeon now. Also, these reboots are being made simply for nostalgia. Ofc they are going to be critiqued by the people who grew up on the original
