Hey @netflix, aren't there two teams playing in this game? Or is the game on a different channels and you are just airing in-game interviews?

Incredible game with two great programs. Going to be tough to top that one this weekend.

Some of these *men* you're competing with for travel spots have been focusing on football and putting in year-round work for 3-1/2 or 4-1/2 years to get to where they are.
You've been there for 2 weeks.
Keep putting in the work, and you'll get there, too.

If you're a freshman #d3fb player feeling frustrated because you didn't get to travel for the team's scrimmage this weekend, take a step back and remember where you were after 2 weeks of practice as a HS freshman. And you're going to improve more in college than you did in HS.

Which #d3fb games in 2025 are most likely to impact the final playoff picture?

Bill has spoken. You should watch more small school football.
In addition to the WIAC, some other #d3fb conference races that I expect to be down to the wire:
SAA - just added best team from neighboring conference, four playoff-caliber teams
Time for another annual favorite: HOW TO ENJOY YOURSELF THE MOST THIS SEASON.
Irish Farmageddon! An amazing Week 5! Midweek nonsense! Ridiculous SEC/B12/#FunBelt races! Young SEC QBs! Adopt a Wisconsin school (and @SRURockFB)! OPTION FOOTBALL, BABY.

If you've listened to my most recent @d3football podcast, can confirm that I am still working my way back into running. Slowly but surely.
Did you make up a new All-America team today, @Catdome_alumni?
SWIMP and I just listened to the latest #greatestgen episode from @GreatestTrek on the train from Galway to Dublin. Repping the brand in a pub as well! Helping me gear up for another football podcast season while on holiday. Thanks for the laughs!
Good news for any of my #biztravel friends who fly through @mspairport!
As the Official Water Sponsor of @mspairport, Pentair is helping MSP promote #sustainability by reducing the need for single-use plastic water bottles at 10 @HOPEHydration water refill stations featuring filtration technology by Everpure from Pentair Water Solutions.
What I was doing 25 years ago today. #d3fb
It was 25 years ago today that D3football.com first went live! Thanks to all the fans, players, coaches and athletics communicators who helped make our first quarter-century a great one! 🎉🎉d3football.com/notables/2024… #d3fb

In one way, this is good (don't overvalue one game just because it was against a team close to you in the rankings), but also, NPI doesn't actually look at all 10 results - ~half of most Pool A/Pool C teams' games will be ignored (that's bad, but lauded disguised as a "feature").

In a very literal sense, H2H results (win/loss) are the ONLY input in the model. It's just a giant matrix of H2H results, trying to rank teams ahead of teams they beat, and below teams they lost to. What's different is that NPI doesn't allow ONE H2H result overpower the other 9.
Shout-out to @CutForTime and @BenjaminAhr for raising the bar on song parodies on their @GreatestTrek podcast! I continue to take inspiration from #GreatestGen for the @D3football pod.
I had a fun night tonight, even if I did fat-finger the hashtag in the post. #d3hoops #buzzerbeater

Still reeling at the enormous and unnecessary cruelty of completely erasing decades of D.C. history by wiping the entire DCist archive off the face of the internet. We should be able to access our clips and you (readers) should be able to look back on that historical record

It’s a wonderful, terrible job — radio news. Wishing the best to friends across town who have worked hard to pursue truth, accountability, as well as provide entertainment. I, and the community, salute you. wtop.com/local/2024/02/wamu-…

Alphabetical regional rankings really should be this week. We need an extra week of rankings. #d3hoops
