If coinbase just put their name at the bottom right of the screen for the whole commercial it would have been better. Any negative sentiment was simply because seeing "coinbase" at the end of a karaoke commercial was very, very, unexpected.

Just saw this friend at Christmas and told me he wants to buy Bitcoin when it falls below $40k. The "touch it" conversation happened when I told him to buy Bitcoin at $20k.

Diff conversation I had about 7-8 months ago: Friend inherited money when his mother died. He told me he wanted a buy gold. I told him, "I've been telling you for years to buy Bitcoin. Take the time to learn about Bitcoin." He said "..doesn't want to learn. You can touch gold.."

I was working at a nonprofit that provided services for the local autistic population. I asked them to consider taking donations in Bitcoin, and sited Fidelity's work with crypto donations. Bitcoin was ~$17 - 20k around then. They said no, and didn't allow any rebuttal from me.

Still haven't been approved for disability insurance - it takes 8-16 months to get a hearing in front of a judge. I will be having another surgery in January. Seeing Bitcoin hit 103k has literally brought me to tears. Sad, happy, regret, grateful, all the emotions man

I've been running a Bitcoin node for ~4yrs. From 2014 - 2021 my body needed 11 surgeries. In 2022, 39 yrs old, diagnosed with an incurable progressive degenerative neurological disease, CMT. I've been waiting for 1yr to get approved for disability. I've run out of bitcoin.
