Jerome Bettis: "My brother gets a phone call, and they say, 'We want to get in touch with your brother. We hear he's in the oil and gas business.' My brother called me and said, 'Do you know something I don't know? I get this phone call about you being in the oil and gas business.' I said, 'I don't know what you're talking about.'"
Jerome Bettis: "It was this company that called and wanted to possibly do some work. One of my good friends was not even in the business, but knew enough to be stupid. Me and him walked into the office a week later and carved out a business and an opportunity."
Jerome Bettis: "Now we're in the oil well services business. We got about 160 employees, so we are a good-sized business and growing. But it started out of a mistake."
