When Jesus spoke about welcoming the stranger or caring for the vulnerable, Matthew 25:35-40, the Good Samaritan, etc, He was teaching personal charity, mercy, and love of neighbor, not a political policy of unrestricted immigration or the dissolution of nations.
The New Testament also recognizes the legitimacy of governing authorities, Romans 13:1-7, and continues to speak of distinct peoples and nations. The Church is called to make disciples of all nations, but that is a spiritual mission, not a political demand for open borders.
Jesus called His followers to radical love and hospitality on a personal level. He did not endorse open borders as a national policy.
