Charmers go 1-2 again on Day 2 of Beach Nats, 1 loss on universe. Much fun was had. Crazy plays abound. Thankfully we were much better at our spirit game - 5v5 transfer of giant underwear thongs. He we are against SF Beach Club. Hilarious good times. Thanks to @USAUltimate
Charm goes 1-2 on Day 1 of @USAUltimate Beach Nats. Plenty of good, but not good enough. This pic was after our game vs Old Master Q.
Southern Charm is back! We’re playing Beach Nats this weekend in Huntington Beach, CA. Looking forward to running around in the sand. Our GMX bracket:

Good luck to our Charmers playing at @USAUltimate Masters Nats starting tomorrow. We’ve got folks on @OldNo7ultimate & Cool Biz (Mixed), @JunkyarD_GMUlt (GM Men), Boston (GM Women), & HURT (GGM). Might be a bit different conditions than @wfdf_wmucc in Limerick. #USAUMastersNats
We lost 5th place game to Grey Owl (Winnipeg). Lost few players to injury & health (as have most teams), but just didn’t have our best today. Not the way we wanted to finish @wfdf_wmucc, but it was an incredible week. 7 straight days of ultimate. 4-6 overall, 6th place #wmucc2022
We also finished 4th in spirit, an important factor in team selection. Were above 2 in every category except rules, which isn’t surprising despite ~3/4 of team passing Advanced tests (we tried). And 2nd highest spirit among USA teams. Thanks to @USAUltimate for bid. #wmucc2022 – at Limerick, Ireland
Charmers won our 5th semis this morning 13-8 vs Endless Sunset (Cali). We played relentless D & pretty efficient O. Great team win! Winslett & LG w the spirit awards. We get a rematch w Grey Owl (Canada) tomorrow at 11am for 5th place. @wfdf_wmucc #wmucc2022 – at Limerick, Ireland
“Endless Charm” marshmallow stuffing contest after Endless Sunset game. #wmucc2022
We played great this morning & beat Big Fish, Little Fish (UK) 15-8 in a must-win game. This meant we won the 7-11 pool & advanced to the 5th place semis, tomorrow vs Endless Sunset (Southern California). New bracket for 5th & pic w BFLF results.wfdf.sport/wmucc/?vi… #wmucc2022
After game, each team had spirit game. Big Fish, Little Fish let us pick 2 of our players to play their game. Bel & Jon were selected & they each wanted the box w big fish. Jon won without truly understanding the game. Prize? Some gummy fish & some fishy potato chips. #wmucc2022
We had BFLF play a similar version of our Charm Off marshmallow stuffing contest. #wmucc2022
Tough 13-11 loss to Cur$ive (@DNR_at_4, Toronto) in only game today. Were down 11-8 & got 3 straight to make it 11-11 before losing. Great game, great fight. One game tomorrow vs Big Fish, Little Fish (UK) to close out this bracket. Win & we advance to 5th place semis. #wmucc2022 – at Limerick, Ireland
In our spirit circle with @SurlyUltimate GMX, we chose the 2 Surly spirit award winners & had them compete to see how many Lucky Charms marshmallows they could stuff in their mouths & then say “Southern Charm”. The hilarious result: #wmucc2022 @wfdf_wmucc
