People face difficulties in many parts of the world, but since all seven billion of us live on this one planet we should be united and stand in solidarity with each other. When this blue planet is viewed from space, there are no national boundaries to be seen.

So glad it was a safe encounter! Also, thank you for sharing the message @BlairCosgrove, for drivers to slow down. So important! Always keep your distance & make noise while on the trails to help keep these magnificent bears, and yourself, safe.

Yesterday, my 1st bear encounter on a trail I've run 100s of times. Cinnamon, small, maybe 125 lbs. Gentle. Timid. It had trouble crossing car-clogged Mountain Ave. #Banff drivers, slow down. Assume an animal will dart out. @BanffNP @Banff_Town @roamtransit
