1PM UPDATE: NORTHBOUND I-405 CLOSED IN #Kirkland
Crews are making steady progress on a massive paving job on NB I-405. Reminder, all NB lanes are closed between NE 70th Pl & NE 124th St.
Backups are as far back as I-90, & NB I-5 has lengthy backups in Seattle too. Plan ahead! 馃毃

Reminder: Northbound I-405 is CLOSED in Kirkland through 5 a.m. Monday morning for construction. Backups are already two miles long (out to SR 520) and growing! 馃毃
Add a lot of travel time to your plans, or consider alternate routes north!
ALT The WSDOT Travel Map shows in dark red heavy congestion/backups along northbound I-405 just north of the State Route 520 interchange, before the full closure of those lanes south of Kirkland.

Backups on westbound I-82 near Ellensburg due two semi collisions. The left lane is open.
Eastbound I-90 between North Bend and Snoqualmie Pass is still backed up for about 15 miles.

#Update The roadway will be reopened shortly. It was determined that the gunshot came from inside the vehicle. Detectives will determine how this happened. There is no danger to the public or any other suspects or vehicles involved.

#ClosureAlert NB I-5 will be completely shut down at Southcenter due to a shooting that occurred on the freeway. Victim was hit in the leg. No suspect vehicle identified at this time. Use alternate routes.

13-mile backup on eastbound I-90
What: A semi truck hauling whisky crashed at 7 a.m.
Where: 11 miles east of North Bend.
Issue: Due to damage, weight & way it crashed, crews had trouble removing it. The lane is now open but there is heavy weekend traffic. Consider an alt. route.

UPDATE 2: Southbound SR 529 remains closed at the Snohomish River Bridge due to a malfunctioning gate. The backup is to I-5. Bridge maintenance crews are on the scene. The is no ETA of reopening. Expect delays and use alternate routes.
