Well above normal temperatures are expected into early next week. We're looking at widespread moderate HeatRisk levels which means that we're particularly concerned about those that are sensitive to heat and/or those without adequate access to effective cooling or hydration.

You might not think about wildfires being a risk in our area, but warmer, drier weather in recent years has brought more frequent fire activity across Snohomish County.
Now through the end of June, the Snohomish Conservation District is offering free assessments to determine risks to your property.
They’ll also offer advice to make your home more fire resilient.
You can schedule an appointment for free at snocd.org/assess.

A South County Fire program working to break the cycle of addiction is also saving taxpayer dollars.
Coordinated Overdose Response by EMS, known as CORE, allows paramedics to administer the prescription drug buprenorphine to overdose patients - lessening opioid withdrawal symptoms.
That means fewer ambulance transports, emergency visits and 911 calls. It also means reducing risk of deaths from opioid overdoses in Snohomish County.
Watch the video to see proof that it’s working.
