🚨 Christa Pike’s execution team voiced concerns about failing IV access before administering pentobarbital, according to attorney Randy Spivey’s eyewitness declaration. The declaration, filed as an exhibit in litigation challenging Tennessee’s lethal-injection protocol, adds detail about the failed September 30 execution attempt. According to Spivey, staff: • Discussed potentially ruptured or “blown” veins. • Used roughly 10 needles while attempting IV access. • Had difficulty pushing saline through the final IV site. The prolonged IV attempts and a badly bent needle were reported earlier. The new development is the more detailed eyewitness declaration describing exchanges among execution personnel. This is a witness account, not a judicial finding. It does not, by itself, prove staff knowingly used a failed IV, establish exactly why the execution failed, or prove a constitutional violation. Attorneys have asked Davidson County Chancery Court for permission to supplement their existing protocol challenge. A hearing is scheduled for November 6 on that request and the state’s motion to dismiss. What did execution personnel know about the IV problems before administering pentobarbital, and what did they do about it? Sources: AP · The Guardian · NewsChannel 5

🔥 Ukraine’s refinery campaign has entered a much more dangerous phase for Russia: the damage is becoming cumulative. Bloomberg reports that Rosneft is now deliberately stretching some refinery repairs from days into weeks because plants are being struck again after,or even as, repairs are completed. Inside the company, the repeated damage-and-rebuild cycle has reportedly been described as prohibitively expensive. Rosneft executives reportedly fear that just several more months of sustained attacks could cause lasting damage to the business. And the IEA independently shows why. 🇷🇺 Russian refinery throughput fell to 3.8 million barrels/day in June, its lowest level in more than 20 years and roughly 30% below a year earlier. Ukraine is increasingly targeting the refinery equipment that is hardest to replace: catalytic crackers, hydrocrackers, reformers and hydrotreaters. A damaged basic distillation unit may sometimes be repaired in 1–2 weeks. A badly damaged secondary-processing unit can require 6–8 MONTHS, and sanctions restrict Russia's access to the Western equipment and parts many of these plants were built around. Some Russian refineries have now been hit 10–15 times. Bloomberg counts at least 114 attacks on Russian refineries in 2026, more than double the previous year's pace. Russia has already responded with gasoline restrictions and unprecedented jet-fuel and diesel export bans, while also importing gasoline to support its domestic market. This is the key change: Ukraine isn't simply knocking refineries offline and waiting for Russia to repair them. It is forcing Russia into a repeated cycle of strike → repair → restrike, degrading reliability, consuming scarce parts, extending outages and making every restoration increasingly expensive. That is a refinery war of attrition. And according to Bloomberg's reporting from inside Rosneft, Russia's largest oil company is starting to feel it.

“In late spring 2020, a source I knew to be reliable called me with a story,” writes Matthew Cole. “The Dutch government had hacked into Jared Kushner’s phone and monitored him as he accessed a Dubai-based bank account. What was odd, the source said, was that the money in the account—hundreds of millions of dollars—had come from a bank in Azerbaijan. Most importantly, Kushner appeared to have transferred significant amounts of money from the Dubai account to other individuals, including a warlord, a mercenary and a one-time hit man. The story sounded preposterous, I told my source. And yet. Six months later, I found myself speaking with someone else about the UAE government and their use of mercenaries in conflicts around the Middle East and Africa when I asked, on a whim, whether they knew anything about Kushner and bank transfers from a UAE account. My acquaintance grew quiet. Then they replied, ‘Yes.’” Kushner’s lawyer denied the bank account existed. This is potentially one of the biggest corruption stories of the Trump era. Matthew Cole reports that Dutch intelligence, after exploiting access stemming from a GRU hack of Jared Kushner’s iPhone, discovered two secret financial arrangements tied to MBS and MBZ worth roughly $1.75 BILLION. Kushner allegedly had signatory/access authority. Kushner flatly denies the accounts ever existed. But it is a specific, explosive allegation published by Vanity Fair and sourced to confidential intelligence reporting. If the documents ever surface and confirm it, the implications would be enormous.

🇺🇦 UKRAINE WAR - OCTOBER 22: NINE MAJOR DEVELOPMENTS Russia's war continues to produce major military losses, while Ukraine expands its defense capabilities. 💀 2,250 Russian personnel losses in 24 hours, the highest daily figure reported by Ukraine's General Staff since the full-scale invasion began. 🔥 75th Arsenal near Moscow: Geolocated footage indicates an explosion at a Russian military repair facility associated with Buk and S-300V systems. 🇺🇦 NATO procurement: The Financial Times reports Ukraine can purchase military supplies through NATO's central procurement agency. 🇫🇮 Finland: Ten diesel locomotives, plus €7 million for winter and humanitarian assistance. 🛰️ NOKIA + ICEYE: A new agreement with Ukraine's Defense Ministry to explore sovereign satellite communications—greater national control over a capability essential to modern warfare. 🇺🇸 STARSHIELD: The WSJ reports Trump asked Musk to lift restrictions. Full restoration remains unverified. ⚔️ OPERATION VELES: Ukraine's Khartiia Corps reports advancing 15+ kilometers through underground routes near Kupiansk, emerging behind Russian positions and capturing over 30 troops. Meanwhile, reports of another incident at Tula's Kosogorsk plant remain unconfirmed, and Zelenskyy has argued that Ukraine's integration with Europe threatens Russia's imperial ambitions. THE BIG PICTURE: Ukraine is fighting on the battlefield while building new procurement, logistics and communications partnerships. The next question is how quickly these new capabilities can translate into operational advantages.

🚨 TRUMP SAYS MUSK RESTORED UKRAINE'S STARLINK. UKRAINE SAYS THE RESTRICTIONS REMAIN. WHO IS TELLING THE TRUTH? On October 22, Trump publicly credited Elon Musk with restoring Ukraine's satellite communications. But Zelenskyy said Ukraine's high-speed Starlink capabilities had NOT been restored. This is not simply about internet access. The restrictions disrupted Ukrainian drone operations, including interceptor missions defending against Russian attacks. NOW FOLLOW THE EVIDENCE: 🇺🇸 REUTERS: Sources traced the original restriction instruction to inside the White House. 🇺🇸 WALL STREET JOURNAL: Sources say Musk ordered the slowdown and Trump later contacted him seeking restoration. 🇺🇸 CBS NEWS: Its own sources also attribute the decision to Musk and describe prior discussions with administration officials. 🇺🇸 MUSK: Previously claimed Starshield restrictions were controlled by the U.S. military and ultimately the president. 🇺🇸 RUBIO AND HEGSETH: Deny the administration ordered the slowdown and point toward SpaceX's contractual authority. THESE EXPLANATIONS DEMAND RECONCILIATION. Trump says service is restored. Ukrainian officials continue reporting limitations. Independent verification of unrestricted high-speed capability remains absent. Meanwhile, Ukraine has also reported repeated failures in American ballistic-missile early warnings. Those failures remain separately unexplained by any publicly released technical investigation. Four U.S. senators are demanding SpaceX's authorization records, contracts and government communications by NOVEMBER 2. THE QUESTIONS ARE SIMPLE: WHO ordered the restrictions? WHO had the authority to impose them? WHAT did Trump know, and when? WAS political pressure on Ukraine involved? AND has full service ACTUALLY been restored? Political retaliation has not been proven. Neither has full restoration. But conflicting statements cannot substitute for evidence. RELEASE THE RECORDS. VERIFY THE RESTORATION. IDENTIFY WHO WAS RESPONSIBLE. Ukraine's ability to defend its people against Russian attacks is too important to be left to contradictory explanations.

These last few days, there is an explosion of the number of Russian 🇷🇺 soldiers eliminated as per Ukrainian 🇺🇦official sources ▫️Official sources shouldn't be taken as fully trustworthy, of course, but the trends are important ▫️For example, GSUA numbers of Russian losses in 2022-2024 are in fact very close to the Mediazona count (using a KIA/WIA ratio), which shows that they are still partly accurate ▫️These last few days, the number of eliminated Russian soldiers has exploded, even reaching 2 000 a day. The USF grouping (only the drone army, not the UA army or special forces) claim they hit 11 800 soldiers this month, more than in August (and we are only on the 22nd). This trend is corroborated by both the USF numbers and the general staff, but why ? ▫️Because Russia is putting a massive effort to attack Dobropilla. They claim they captured the city and they send hundreds of men everyday there. In fact losses are much higher than in Bakhmut in 2023 (known as a bloody battle). ▫️All reserves from 4 different armies are being thrown at Dobropilla before the winter, because they want to wage a battle in an urban area this year, knowing how costly last winter was to just reach Kostiantynivka outskirts.

Ukraine’s strikes are imposing costly repairs on Russia’s oil industry, while sanctions make damaged equipment harder to replace. At the same time, the war continues consuming troops and equipment Russia would otherwise have available along NATO’s frontier. On October 22, ASTRA reported geolocating footage of an explosion to the 75th Arsenal in Serpukhov, south of Moscow. Russia’s own defense conglomerate, Rostec, has documented the enterprise’s work repairing Buk-M1, Buk-M2 and S-300V air-defense equipment. Its military role is established; the damage from this reported strike and any disruption to repairs remain unconfirmed. The refinery damage has broader documented consequences. In September, the International Energy Agency reported that Russian refinery throughput had fallen in June to its lowest level in more than 20 years, roughly 30% below a year earlier. Seriously damaged secondary processing units, the equipment that increases production of gasoline, diesel and jet fuel, can require six to eight months to repair. Sanctions restrict equipment access, while repeated attacks and repairs can undermine reliability. That timeframe concerns complex damage, not every refinery fire. Rosneft’s own accounts show first-half 2026 net profit fell 18.4% to 200 billion rubles. The company also acknowledged reduced refining throughput amid repairs and logistical constraints. Separately, outlets citing Bloomberg report that unnamed sources described company officials’ fears that even a few more months of war could cause lasting damage across the business. The military tradeoff is visible in Kaliningrad. Lithuania’s March 2026 intelligence assessment described Russia’s grouping there as “temporarily weakened”: most ground troops and combat equipment had been deployed against Ukraine, leaving ground units staffed mainly by conscripts and a small number of professional soldiers. Yet Russia was still expanding military infrastructure and converting its naval infantry brigade into a division. The assessment describes both the resources absorbed by the invasion and Moscow’s continuing preparations for a longer confrontation with NATO.

Americans viewed Zelenskyy more favorably than Trump in Gallup’s July 7–21, 2025 poll: 52% versus 41%. Unfavorable ratings were 34% for Zelenskyy and 57% for Trump. Same survey, same favorability question.

There is concrete evidence that both Trump and Musk have taken positions that favor Russia at Ukraine’s expense. Trump: On October 16, 2026, he waived major new Russia sanctions and tariffs under the Graham Act. On October 9, his administration authorized previously restricted transactions involving Russian diesel. These decisions spared Moscow additional sanctions pressure and eased restrictions on its fuel trade. Musk: His October 2022 peace proposal called for recognizing Crimea as Russian and for Ukrainian neutrality. In September 2023, he acknowledged refusing a 2022 Ukrainian request to extend Starlink coverage to Sevastopol for an attack on Russia’s fleet, citing fears of escalation. SpaceX has also provided important Starlink support to Ukraine, so Musk’s record is mixed. That support deserves acknowledgment. It does not erase the specific positions he has taken that favor Russia. Calling these particular positions pro-Russian is a defensible assessment grounded in documented statements and actions. #Ukraine #Russia #Trump #ElonMusk #Starlink #Sanctions #Crimea

Even with Musk hobbling Starlink for Ukraine’s frontline defenders, Russia just had its worst 7-day period of the entire war, with a combination of Ukraine's advances in some areas and Russia's meat-wave attacks in others, the US rescue couldn't come at a better time for the Kremlin.
