The Lady that allegedly recorded the “Oloolu” in Ibadan said She did not see the Oloolu directly during the rituals after She started bleeding non-stop stop. Unfortunately, She allegedly did not make it after all that were done by the Oloolu’s family and other Traditionalist. Some have being saying it is all lies to create fear in the mind of People.

October 2019: Governor Makinde visited the site and ordered an immediate work stoppage.
February/March 2021: The ENL concession was formally terminated, citing non-performance and failure to deliver within the 18-month window.
ENL refused to vacate the site as litigation commenced in the FCT High Court, Abuja.
On 5 July 2021, OYSG, through the newly formed Bureau of Investment Promotion and Public Private Partnership (later OYSIPA) re-awarded the entire 110 km road to SEL-Vydra Consortium.

ENL commenced work shortly after contract signing. By the time the Makinde administration terminated the concession in 2021, the following was on record:
1. Work completed: ENL claimed approximately 20% of the Phase 1 scope. The Makinde government cited only 5.5% completion of the full 110 km project,a disputed figure reflecting different measurement bases.
2. ENL's own expenditure: ₦3.96 billion of private capital deployed, covering bush clearing, compensation to additional landowners, asphalt laying, road networks, and rock blasting.
3. Liability claim on termination: ENL demanded ₦10.6 billion from OYSG before it would vacate the site.
Note: The BOT model meant ENL was financing the project from its own funds, not from state disbursements. No state payment to ENL was officially confirmed.

In 2017, the late Governor Abiola Ajimobi revived the project with two significant actions:
1. Expanded the land acquisition from 75 metres to 500 metres on each side (1 km total corridor), aligning it with the new Ibadan Master Plan.
2. Flagged off construction of Phase 1 at Badeku village in June 2017.

The concept of a ring road encircling Ibadan's urban area was first proposed during the Lam Adesina administration in 2002, when an inter-ministerial committee was constituted for the purpose.
The first substantive progress came under Governor Rashidi Ladoja (2003–2007). His administration funded the survey of the road and in 2005 completed the Right-of-Way (RoW) survey, fixing the corridor at 75 metres on each side.
Compensation was paid to all property owners within that corridor. On Ladoja's exit in 2007, the project stalled for a decade.

Iwo Road Central Terminals 1 & 2 were only commissioned in November 2025 after COVID-era delays. They replaced the old chaotic, unregulated motor parks that used to define that axis.
Now, What the video shows is rainy season waterlogging on high-traffic access roads and entrances, a common challenge at any major Nigerian transport hub handling thousands of vehicles and passengers daily.
And also, someone already posted this and the state feedback channels have already acknowledged the drainage and maintenance complaints and forwarded them for action.
What I would say is, Building modern infrastructure is one thing, sustaining it under intense usage and seasonal rains is continuous work. That doesn’t erase the fact that Seyi Makinde delivered a long overdue upgrade that previous administrations never completed.
Streetlights? Dead. Traffic lights? Comatose. At this point, even candles would outlast ur infrastructure. Drivers in Ibadan don’t obey traffic lights, they interpret them like ancient hieroglyphics. And you? A pharaoh who forgot to build the pyramids but loots. @seyimakinde
