the level of intellect this movie carries is insane, Realizing in real time that the twist is criticizing all of us for sitting back and just watching as the world goes to shit and treating it like entertainment instead of taking action made me love this so much more

Digger’s poor box office numbers prove the film's premise: critics and audiences desperately want to believe art can save the world, and they get furious when you suggest it can’t.

The Digger speech is inverting the logic of “there is no ethical consumption under capitalism” a true statement which is meant not to prove that consumers are unethical but that the system makes ethical consumption an impossibility and says “well actually it is consumers fault”

why don't we just keep making original movies all together.....the simple answer is..... BECAUSE YOU DONT WANT ME TO. DEEP DOWN INSIDE YOU WANT ME POUNDING OUT SEQUEL. AND YOU WANT ME TO KEEP PRODUCING REMAKES!!
